00:00Come with us to the Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami New York City pop-up to celebrate the
00:05new re-edition collection that has just launched. Located in Soho, the pop-up boasts different
00:10sections. There's the exhibition space showing archival selections from their original collections
00:14that began in 2003 when Marc Jacobs, the artistic director at the time, invited the Japanese artist
00:21to reimagine the heritage brand's signature monogram canvas. Then there is a care room
00:26where customers can repair, clean, and restore pieces from past Louis Vuitton Takashi Murakami
00:31collections, a mini cinema showing two short Takashi Murakami films, a cafe, and of course
00:37a retail space featuring chapter one of the newest collaboration collection. If you purchase a piece,
00:43you will receive a token to activate a vending machine stocked with collaborative stickers,
00:48trading cards, and Takashi Murakami portable games, which is what I got. The pop-up in New York City
00:53will be open throughout January with other activations happening in London, Milan, Seoul,
00:58Shanghai, Singapore.
