00:04with Dina in episode one. When Seth provides Ellie and Dina supplies for their mission, it may seem
00:08like his character's taking a turn for the better. We believe it's actually Ellie's character who has
00:11taken a turn for the worse. At the council meeting, a townsperson advises forgiveness for Joel's death,
00:16saying our capacity for mercy separates us from raiders and murderers. Seth angrily interjects,
00:20saying they came into our house, they took one of ours, they don't deserve our mercy. Ellie is advised
00:24not to give an angry speech, so she gives one about justice. We can imagine Ellie's speech would
00:28have sounded a lot like Seth's interjection. Ellie and Seth being on the same side of an argument
00:31is a bad omen. We know Seth is a person who spreads pain and hatred, as we saw in episode
00:35one. While
00:36Ellie may have different opinions on social issues than Seth, she's also prone to lashing out at the
00:40world. And the fact that Seth agrees with her decision to head to Seattle is a sign that this
00:43is a huge mistake, and potentially putting Ellie on the path towards hatred. What did you think of
