00:57My hair is naturally sort of light, mousy brown
01:02and a little bit wavy,
01:03so I'm excited to try something different.
01:06So with the haircut,
01:08that would bring Danielle's hair a little bit shorter,
01:10put a little layer in it to give it a little bit of flow.
01:16So my hair journey has been pretty straightforward.
01:19I'm sort of risk-averse when it comes to changing my hair.
01:23I colored my hair once
01:25and I had really subtle highlights
01:27to the point where no one noticed them.
01:29And I've gotten some impulse bangs in the past,
01:33which were not my look, but fun to try.
01:37So I'm really excited to try something new.
02:01As far as Danielle's color for today,
02:04her hair is naturally beautiful.
02:06I like to keep the integrity of the hair.
02:10That's the most important thing for me.
02:12I like to keep hair shiny, healthy.
02:15It's most important whether you're going blonde,
02:18strawberry blonde, brunette.
02:20The most important thing is to keep the hair healthy looking
02:23and shiny.
02:23So that's what I'll do for Danielle today.
02:42I like that it's lighter framing your face
02:45and then blending towards the back.
03:02As far as the maintenance,
03:04my motto is the less maintenance, the better.
03:07So if you need to come back in six months,
03:11that's great for me.
03:13And I'm going to have fun making Danielle blonde.
03:24When I was a little kid, I was like sort of platinum blonde.
03:28My mom's blonde and she really is excited for me to do it.
03:33I'm excited to try it.
03:35And maybe this will be my look moving forward.
