00:10I'm Kelly Rose and I'll be getting my eyelash extensions removed today.
00:14I've gotten my eyelash extensions done for projects that I've done as a musician.
00:18For an everyday look, I think it's cool.
00:21It's the easiest way to not have to wear makeup in the morning.
00:25I don't have any projects coming up and I just want to give my lashes a rest.
00:30I went to I Do Lashes to get my lashes done because I really trust them.
00:35I'm Dominique Jones and I'm a lash expert at I Do Lashes in Los Angeles.
00:39I Do Lashes is a female-owned business and we specialize in lashes and brows.
00:46We've had to adjust our protocols and we're taking clients' temperatures.
00:52We've also minimized the amount of clients we see a day and properly sanitize and disinfect
00:59and make sure we're doing the services as safe as possible.
01:02I think it's really important to get your lashes removed by a professional
01:06because I've heard so many stories of girls just damaging their natural lashes.
01:10I am a bit sad that I will be taking off these lashes because they really do look fabulous.
01:15Are my lashes still going to be there?
01:22I will wipe down her eyes with a cotton round and makeup remover to remove all of the makeup
01:29and residue around her eye area.
01:31I then will apply her eye patches.
01:37I will then get the gel remover and microfiber brushes.
01:45I will dip the microfiber brushes into the gel remover and apply them to the base of her lash line.
02:05I will leave the gel remover on her lashes so the gel remover can loosen the bond of the adhesive.
02:13We're going to leave it on for about five minutes so when I return we'll just have them slide right
02:18off.
02:22I use the microfiber brushes to slide off the extensions.
02:53I use the microfiber brushes to slide off the��게 brushes.
03:04You must have naturally healthy lashes to receive any of the services, whether it be
03:10extensions or a lash lift.
03:13It's best to start any of those services on healthy lashes.
03:18We just encourage our clients to use serum or take vitamins to continue having healthy
03:26lashes.
04:00After all of the extensions have come off, I then clean off the residue with a q-tip and
04:09makeup remover.
04:30I brush the lashes and dry them.
05:02There isn't any of them.
05:03Anything you need to do differently afterwards, once your lashes are removed, it's pretty
05:08much back to normal.
05:16If you cannot see a professional to remove your eyelash extensions, it's best to just
05:21wait it out.
05:22Your lashes will naturally cycle out on their own, so just be patient.
05:32I'm just going to clean off the residue on your right eye and then we'll be done.

05:57They're very healthy, but you can take a look at your natural lashes.

06:09When Dominique was removing my lashes, it just felt like someone was grooming my lashes

06:16It was actually really relaxing and I took a little nap in there.

06:42So now with my natural lashes, I honestly don't feel that much of a difference.
06:48The lash extensions didn't feel heavy.
06:50I definitely was more aware that I had them, so I had to be careful when washing my face,
06:56but otherwise, it still feels the same.
06:59While I do miss my lash extensions because they made such a great change,
07:03I'm really glad that I got them removed professionally
07:06and it's really great to know that my lash condition is still in great shape.
07:12Lashes and eyes are basically the most important part of the face.
