00:00When I started judo as a child in Ceilândia, I never imagined how far this dream could take me.
00:09What started as an opportunity to practice the sport, transformed my life.
00:14Judo taught me much more than just techniques and results.
00:19It taught me discipline, respect, and courage.
00:22Oh, put resilience aside and believe that even when the path seems impossible, it's worth continuing.
00:31I had the privilege of representing Brazil on the world's most important issues.
00:36In 2008, I won a unique medal that marked my career.
00:49But, as the years went by, I realized that the greatest significance of that achievement wasn't just in the medal itself.
00:57It was on the doors that she helped to open.
01:00And if more girls today believe they can get there,
01:04And if more women occupy spaces that previously seemed distant,
01:08So I feel that my mission was much bigger than any podium finish.
01:13Throughout this journey, I also faced challenges, many doubts, and difficult moments.
01:20But it was precisely them who transformed me into the woman I am today.
01:26After three decades dedicated to sports,
01:29And a whole life built on the values of judo,
01:32The time has come to end my competitive career.
01:37My career as a high-performance athlete.
01:40And I do this with a peaceful heart.
01:43With deep gratitude to my family,
01:45To my teachers, to my classmates,
01:48Both for club and national team.
01:50To the fans who always sent positive energy.
01:54My little rocket, my fiancé who has been with me through the most difficult and happiest moments as well.
01:59And to all those who, in some way, believed in my journey.

02:07The Olympic medal bears my name.
02:09But this story belongs to many hands.
02:11Many hearts.
02:13Many people dream along with me.
02:21Today I say goodbye to competitions, but not to judo.
