NBI Director Matibag arrives at the Senate

National Bureau of Investigation Director Melvin Matibag arrives at the Senate for the eighth day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial on July 21, 2026. Matibag is expected to shed light on the agency's investigation into the alleged threats of Duterte against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and former speaker Martin Romualdez.
