00:12Bank Mwamalat Malaysia Berhad Chief Economist Avzan Nizam Abdul Rashid said Negeri Sembilan recorded its highest ever investment in 2025,
00:22totaling RM19.1 billion through 295 approved projects.
00:27He said the key question now was how far these investments can be realised.
01:00Afzal Nizam said the investments, once implemented, will create spillover effects across various sectors and open up more job opportunities.
01:10He said it was therefore important for infrastructure development to continue so that local communities can benefit directly.
01:17Since the Madani government took over the reins at Pucca Jaya, federal spending for Negeri Sembilan has increased from RM4
01:25.4 billion previously to about RM6 billion in 2026.
01:30A total of 302 development projects have been approved, involving an allocation of RM1.35 billion.
01:38Major projects include the Suramban Central Transit-Oriented Development, rural road upgrades, Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 infrastructure upgrades, flood
01:48mitigation projects and water supply projects.
01:51Hospital, school, courthouse and health clinic projects are also in the pipeline.
01:56These projects are now being translated into tangible improvements in residents' daily lives, including routes used for work, public facilities
02:06needed by families and economic activity in local areas.
