00:00Aaron Judge met with the media here at Yankee Stadium, oh, about an hour and a half, two hours ago,
00:04and he said they did the re-imaging, there is progress, but he's not ready yet for baseball activity.
00:10That does seem unfortunate for the Yankees, so the wait will go on.
00:14He will be re-imaged at some point, they didn't say when exactly that will be,
00:18but at that point they'll hope that the rib is healed and he will be able to begin baseball activity.
00:24But neither Judge nor Aaron Boone, the manager, would say at this point what the best case scenario is,
00:31waiting back on the field, playing for the Yankees.
00:34He has been out since May 31st with his broken rib, probably shouldn't be a shock.
00:39He did have a similar injury back in the pandemic year of 2020.
00:44They weren't playing games at that time, but I'm told that it kept him out about two and a half
00:49to three months.
00:49If that's the case, he's got another month to month and a half to go before he is back on
00:54the field.
00:54So sometime around September 1st is probably a good guess.
00:59They wouldn't make one, but that's my guess.
