00:00I'm Valeria. And I'm Camila. We're excited to share more about our two-headed life with you all.
00:04Why are these conjoined twins facing backlash? Valeria and Camila are sisters who have grown
00:09quite the social media following. They are seemingly conjoined twins, claiming they have
00:13one body and two hearts. So for the lungs, we actually have four. And for the tummies or
00:19stomachs, we have two. They document their lives as conjoined twins, going to the gym together,
00:25relaxing by the beach, and meeting up with friends. We can get drunk individually. Like,
00:29I might be tipsy while she's sober. But we share one liver, so it processes the alcohol at the same
00:33rate. We don't get drunk twice as fast. But many users aren't convinced the sisters are actually
00:37conjoined twins. Valeria and Camila's posts are often flooded with people claiming their content
00:42is generated by artificial intelligence. And when some users leave comments asking if the images
00:47and videos are real, oftentimes users respond saying they're not. Valeria and Camila have seemingly
00:52tried to silence the doubters by posting pictures of them when they were younger. They have even
00:57addressed the doubters directly, responding to comments on their socials. One user asked,
01:01does each of you control one half of your body? To which they responded with, yes. We each control
01:06either the left or right side, respectively. They also claimed they've had multiple surgeries,
01:11due to their spines being dangerously conjoined. And the question they get asked the most is how
01:15they date, which they cleared up by saying,
01:17Great question. So we actually like both men and women, but we both have to like the same person.
01:22We stop dating individually. It has to be a connection with all three of us.
01:25But Valeria and Camila aren't the only conjoined twins who have built a following on social media.
01:30We don't possess identical brains. We cannot read each other's thoughts. I wouldn't even wish to know
01:37what's on your mind. Sisters Nellie and Neva are conjoined twins. Their bodies are separate,
01:42but are joined by the head. Doctors thought the sisters wouldn't live past five years old,
01:46but now they are 24 and document their lives on social media. We can talk, we can walk, we can
01:52eat, we can sleep, we can even go to the toilet by ourselves. The sisters were born in Suriname,
01:59and then moved to the Netherlands. Doctors thought they could separate them, but came to the conclusion
02:03that such a surgery would result in at least one of them dying. After they were born, their mother
02:08passed away, and their elder sister ended up becoming their legal guardian. On social media,
02:12the twins show how they navigate life. This ranges from how they cook together to how they spend time
02:17doing their own hobbies despite being conjoined. Navigating everyday tasks can be hard, but the
02:22sisters have found their own way of doing things, like getting into a car or putting on clothes.
02:27They've even figured out how to watch TV together by using a mirror. Something they do need help with
02:32is braiding their hair though, which their sister does for them. The sister's dream is to break taboos
02:37and show people that those with disabilities can achieve a lot in life.
