00:22A man slipped past security at Today and was looking for Al Roker.
00:25When the intruder couldn't find Roker, he reportedly asked for Melvin instead.
00:29Our sources confirm the intruder did not enter the studio, but went after Melvin in a restricted staircase.
00:35Staff and security rushed in after Melvin called security and the man was detained and arrested.
00:40Sources tell us the intruder was wearing a backpack.
