00:00Good evening Trinidad and Tobago. We always celebrate Fridays but there's something nice about the middle of the week as
00:07well. So happy Wednesday. Let's get right to your weather. Here's what's happening tonight. Tonight will be clear and cool
00:14but it will be interrupted by an odd overnight shower with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in Trinidad and 26
00:22in Tobago.
00:23And tomorrow make sure you don't leave the house without your sunscreen because according to the Met Office most areas
00:30will be predominantly sunny, hazy and breezy. There's a low chance of a heavy shower during the afternoon but this
00:38time favoring western areas of Trinidad. Keep in mind that with heavy showers, gusty winds and streets and flash flooding
00:45are possible. Daytime temperatures will reach up to 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
00:51And for your dust concentration, well that will remain at moderate concentration. So continue to exercise caution. Now here's what
01:01our two favorite days of the week will dish out. Sunday skies with one or two afternoon showers in a
01:06few areas on Friday.
01:07And on Saturday. And on Saturday things will get shady with cloudy periods accompanied by intermittent showers in varying localities.
01:16So your umbrella would be good company to have on Saturday.
01:20Tower sun times now in Trinidad sunrises at 551 and 547 in Tobago and sunset at 632 in Trinidad and
01:29630 in Tobago.
01:30And if the beach is calling and you're planning on answering, it will say that seas will be moderate with
01:37waves, 1.5 meters to 2 meters in open waters and below 1 meter in sheltered areas.
01:43It's now time for your tide times.
01:54So the Met Office says sunny skies tomorrow. But did you know the sun is strongest between the hours of
02:0110 a.m. and 4 p.m.?
02:02Well, because that's when its rays strike the earth more directly. During this time, UV radiation is at its highest,
02:11increasing the risk of sunburn, heat exhaustion and long-term skin damage.
02:16So if you're spending time outdoors, wear sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and drink plenty of water to stay
02:25protected.
02:25But I always tell you guys that anyway. And you can also go for that jog before 10 a.m.
02:32or after 4 p.m. instead.
02:34Well, now you know. And well, that's all for weather tonight. Don't you?
