00:00Jackson Dart, interesting year one, you laughed.
00:02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:03Interesting year one.
00:03We saw from him toughness.
00:06We saw that tough mentality, but the Giants also still want him to maybe slow it down a little bit.
00:11Yeah.
00:11Is that something you're going to be closely watching with Jackson Dart any year or two,
00:15and do you think he will be able to make those adjustments under John Harbaugh?
00:18100% I'm going to be watching that.
00:20The reason I laughed is because I was blessed enough to do the town hall.
00:25Like, some of my peoples called me and were like,
00:27hey, we want you and Sean O'Hara to play a small role in interviewing some of our superstars
00:31and then also introduce the rookie class.
00:34And we had all these fans there, you know, kids and grown folks.
00:38And here comes Jackson Dart and Cam Scatterboo and a bunch of other superstars.
00:42And so I had to ask a question.
00:45I'm like, Jackson, what did you learn from last year?
00:48Are you going to take care of your body a little bit more after knowing what it's like,
00:54not just to get injured, because being injured in the NFL is inevitable.
00:58But it's how you look at the game when you're standing on the sideline as the franchise quarterback.
01:04And he said to me, he was like, look, yeah, if there is a down in distance
01:10where I feel like I don't need to sacrifice my body for,
01:13then I'm going to think about running out of bounds or sliding
01:16because the best ability is availability.
01:18I love that answer.
01:20I'm like, cool.
01:21You know what I'm saying?
01:22It's one of those things he probably had to hear over and over in offseason.
01:26And as a young guy, it's hard for you to look at yourself and think you're not invincible.
01:30But he finally came to grips with it.
