00:00So it's on its way. It's already here. It's on its way. And we probably haven't seen the worst of
00:04it yet, right at this exact moment.
00:21It's already here, basically here, meaning in New York City. But we probably haven't seen the worst of it yet
00:28for New York City.
00:29We probably haven't seen the worst of it yet for the Great Lakes and the upstate of New England yet
00:34either.
00:36So, yeah, it's here right now. The current AQIs, the air quality indices, are very much in the unhealthy range,
00:46unhealthy for all groups, not just sensitive groups.
00:50The forecast is showing that, you know, by tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon, it could be up another category into the
00:58very unhealthy or possibly even the highest category, which is the hazardous.
01:03So it's it's on its way. It's already here. It's on its way. And we probably haven't seen the worst
01:09of it yet right at this exact moment.
01:13We could say pretty confidently that the air quality levels are going to be into the unhealthy, if not very
01:20unhealthy range tomorrow in vast swaths of the Mid-Atlantic,
01:26the Northeast and the Great Lakes and probably New England as well, actually.
01:57So Saturday, there's rain in the forecast for the tri-state New York area.
02:02So we do have kind of a ceiling, so to speak, on how bad this can get by Saturday.
02:10I'm expecting by Saturday with the rain, things should be a little bit better.
02:15The first big wave of smoke that we've seen will also have cleared out.
02:20It'll have gone over into the ocean, you know, transported further, further downwind.
