00:06District can finally go ahead almost five years after being approved. An application to build
00:11100,000 square metres of employment space and 150 homes on the S. Holt estate was approved in
00:19September 2021. Members had been told that the development would create 2,000 jobs, but the
00:26scheme has only just received full planning permission because the 106 agreements relating
00:32to the development had not been signed off. These legalities can include agreements to
00:37provide affordable homes or road improvements to accompany developments.
