00:09The money will support the areas over a 10-year period, with plans decided by a local neighbourhood board.
00:15The areas were identified as facing high levels of deprivation and weaker social infrastructure.
00:21The council has also accepted £537,000 for the period, covering 2025 to 2027.
00:29Projects funded through the scheme will be chosen locally and will be included in a future investment plan.
00:36The council must submit a Pride in Place plan by November 2026.
