00:00Here's the come around in this story, and this is, I think, what Rich Paul and company have wanted,
00:04and they've accomplished it with someone like myself.
00:07I've now boomeranged the idea that I'm more worried than I once was.
00:12Worry has now crept back in.
00:14All this chatter about the Warriors and it being basically the Warriors and the Cavs now.
00:18And again, I don't know that LeBron even has made up his decision.
00:21I have no inside information on any of this.
00:23I'm hearing a lot of things.
00:24The streets are telling me lots.
00:26Yeah, the streets have been talking for a long time in this entire stretch, by the way.
00:30Streets in Miami, streets in Cleveland.
00:31Streets everywhere.
00:32Streets everywhere.
00:33And so I just, I don't know.
00:35I can't explain the feeling I have in my stomach regarding this decision.
00:39But what I do know is that I am more worried than I ever have been that it will not
00:44be the Cavs.
00:45There's no basis for this.
00:47There's nothing.
00:48Nothing has come out.
00:49It's just connecting all the dots that we've had for two and a half weeks now.
00:51Rich Paul talking about happiness, going on the thing about not caring necessarily about titles.
00:57The golf part of this where he wants indoor and outdoor is still staying in my brain.
01:02And it's just been enough breadcrumbs where I just wonder if it's always been Golden State
01:07and we should have been paying attention more in the beginning instead of just dismissing it.
01:11I think that again happens in the vacuum that is nothing really insightful from anybody in LeBron's camp.
01:18Even like Rich Paul's podcast, like that's out there for a reason.
01:23And he's doing a lot of great content.
01:24Good for him.
01:25Great globe for the podcast.
01:27I take none of this at face value.
01:29The funniest part is, if anybody missed our new segment, 32 Teams in 16 Days, which happens at 620.
01:35So we're splitting up each day with two different football teams.
01:39And we asked Dan Day of WQAM in Miami, who is the most positive guy in Miami sports I've ever
01:44heard.
01:45He's got a lot to be positive about.
01:46He's got a lot to be positive.
01:47He lives in Miami.
01:48We don't need to relitigate that at 6 o'clock.
01:51But I'd do it if I had to.
01:54But we're like, you know, how confident are you?
01:57He's choosing the heat and he's like 65% because the streets are telling me things.
02:01I don't buy the streets.
02:03It's not the streets.
02:04It's just there's two things working at play here.
02:07The same 70 people texting each other, by the way.
02:09It's two things working.
02:10One, the idea of, you know, where people really go crazy in the loony bin.
02:14It's just living with their own thoughts for too long.
02:16We've had no inside information.
02:17I've just lived with my thoughts for too long.
02:19But the other part of this is that I just have a hard time thinking that the Cavs were the
02:24front runner this entire time.
02:26And it was so obvious.
02:27And it's sitting right there.
02:29And then we actually see it come to fruition.
02:31That's the part I can't get over.
02:32We've led this race for too long for it to then result in it being the Cavs.
02:36That's the worry I have deep down in my stomach about whether or not this can actually be reality.
02:40And we've had enough time now with this that I've been able to convince myself maybe, just maybe, we should
02:45have given the Warriors more thought in this.
02:47I have got Jeff Phelps' level of contentment with this.
02:51I don't.
02:51And maybe that's the problem.
02:52I am as zen.
02:54And by the way, that doesn't mean that I'm 100% sure LeBron is coming home.
02:58But if LeBron comes home, I will be thrilled.
03:02I will be so happy.
03:04The next eight months, if that's all we get, because again, going through the next playoffs,
03:08if that's all we get is more than enough.
03:11Being able to say goodbye to LeBron in his NBA career as a Cavs fan, I didn't think we'd ever
03:17get the chance to.
03:18So just that idea makes me so overwhelmingly zen that I also understand that if it doesn't happen,
03:27well, I already have questions about the Cavaliers.
03:30If LeBron has those same questions, I can't really be mad at him.
03:34I know, but the goodbye that you're talking about then gets ripped away from you.
03:37There's this closure that apparently you needed, or at least you're going to enjoy.
03:40It just gets ripped away from you.
03:41But I don't feel entitled to it.
03:42I do think there are people in town who feel entitled to it.
03:46I don't.
03:46I will sign up for it every single day that we possibly can.
03:50I hope that it's not just one year, but it's two years.
03:53And I think it would be a joyous experience for two full years if LeBron came home for the last
03:59time.
04:00No, of course it would be.
04:00And you would have been able to have all sorts of different roster changes,
04:02and it would look different, which is what we need.
04:05But whereas in 2010 and 2014, I felt entitled to LeBron, I don't.
04:11Some of that's the title.
04:12Some of it is he doesn't just belong to Cleveland.
04:15He does belong to the NBA.
04:18So even if it's going to be weird to see him in a Sixers uniform, or it's blasphemous to see
04:22him in a Warriors uniform,
04:24at some point I'm going to have to be like, I root for LeBron.
04:27I stand for LeBron.
04:28I want him to have the biggest platform as he goes out.
04:31And I get that.
04:31And listen, we'll both have to accept it.
04:33I'll have to see the Cavs do some changes instantly and try to figure out what this roster is going
04:37to look like.
04:37I just have this uneasy feeling.
04:39And if I'm being truthful about it, I've had this uneasy feeling the entire time.
04:42I had it in the very, very beginning of this when you were off.
04:44I kept talking about Golden State for a few different reasons.
04:47And I just, as we're getting closer and closer, it seems like, I don't know, what are we, 24 hours
04:51away potentially from the actual decision being made?
04:55I just have this uneasy feeling that it's not going to be us.
04:58It's not inside sourced, obviously.
05:00It's just me telling you how I feel going through this process.
05:03If people were checked out on the Cavs after they got swept in the Eastern Conference Finals, and people are
05:10still mad about that, more mad than I am.
05:11I was really upset at the time, and I think I've just come to grips with who this team is
05:17as constructed if Donovan's your best player.
05:19And I can live with that.
05:21I can live with being in the Eastern Conference every year.
05:23And they're going to have to talk championships because that's what you're supposed to do in the NBA.
05:27Act like that matters more than saving from the second apron to the first apron or keeping Donovan happy.
05:32All the stuff that goes into just trying to stay as a functional team.
05:36But, like, make no bones about it.
05:38If at this point LeBron picks anywhere but Cleveland, people are going to check so hard.
05:45They're already checked out on this Cavs team to some degree.
05:47I'm checked out with you just talking about the idea of LeBron not being there.
05:50They're going to be so checked out.
05:52Like, you know, we always try and make sure that we start talking about them early in the season so
05:57that it's a logical transition when NFL goes away.
05:59Yeah.
06:01Good luck talking about the Cavs in October, November, December, January, or February at all if LeBron doesn't come home.
06:08I know.
06:09That's why this is a massive decision.
06:10Well, but it's going to hurt the Cavs.
06:12It's going to hurt the interest in the Cavs.
06:13It's not going to hurt my interest in the Cavs, but it is going to hurt the general interest.
06:16I know.
06:17And LeBron doesn't have to care about that, by the way.
06:19LeBron doesn't have to care about whether or not the Cavs are set up.
06:22And LeBron doesn't have to care about whether or not Donovan Mitchell gets a championship or anything.
06:26LeBron just has to take care of LeBron.
06:27And I really feel like he's going to go towards what makes LeBron happiest.
06:32And I think a 50-minute private jet flight home to Los Angeles, being on the West Coast, playing with
06:38friends, golf courses everywhere.
06:40You get all the different money that's involved in San Francisco and the areas to grow his portfolios.
06:46Can I get you some Ativan?
06:47It's always worried me.
06:49It's always been a concern.
06:50And now that we're actually like 24 hours away, we're knocking on the doorstep of it.
06:54You're spiraling.
06:56It's just the reality.
06:57I need to make this clear to you guys.
06:58And this is not to make anyone feel bad or worse about it.
07:01Listen, I hope beyond hope that it ends up being the Cavs.
07:04I've just always had this deep, dark thought in the back of my brain.
07:07And as we're getting closer and closer, it's like when you're knocking on death's door.
07:11You're like, I just need to let you all know my real thoughts on everything in life.
07:14This is how I feel.
07:15It's just I'm worried about it.
07:18You've got a furtive imagination and you've got a propensity for anxiety.
07:22And I think that's at play here.
07:25And listen, I'm not here to tell you that I know anything definitively about LeBron.
07:29The things I laid out and then also mixed with Rich Paul's comments, which has been directly in lockstep with
07:35him going to Golden State.
07:36Is it like, do we just get too much trickles to go ahead and make it all of a sudden
07:41be reality?
07:42None of it matters.
07:43They're not, you know, there's no breadcrumbs here.
07:46There's none of this.
07:47It's silence.
07:48And so, like, if we just strip everything away, what is the best ending to LeBron's story?
07:55Knowing that that has guided so much of his decision-making until he went to L.A.
07:59and when it was about the lifestyle stuff, which maybe that's now taking precedence.
08:03But, like, it's always been about what's the best way to further the story.
08:07But he hasn't cared about that in seven years in Los Angeles.
08:10I would imagine if he doesn't care about how the end of it is.
08:12Because the thing that he could have in acing the end of the story is that's not something Michael Jordan
08:19has.
08:20Michael Jordan had it, then unretired, went to Washington,
08:24and that thing was a fiasco compared to his Chicago story.
08:27Sure, but maybe his version of acing the end of the story is him going to play with a bunch
08:31of people he wildly respects,
08:33has appreciation for, while also living a good life 50 minutes away from his house in Los Angeles.
08:38I feel like we're on the verge of a goodwill hunting situation here.
08:41Having access to all these golf courses.
08:43Jonathan, it's not your fault.
08:44Being with all the money and the influence that is there in San Francisco.
08:48Jonathan, it's not your fault.
08:49All those tech bros.
08:51I know it's not my fault.
08:53Jonathan, look at me.
08:54But it'd be disingenuous of me if I didn't voice this and didn't let people know that with, like,
08:59potentially 24 hours to go, a lot of doubt has crept in.
09:02And it's not founded.
09:04It's not come from anything.
09:05They've just given me too much time to sit with my own thoughts is the problem here.
09:08But it's something that I initially said day one of this whole entire thing.
09:12And you've given me enough time to go all the way back, Nick.
09:15And I don't love that I'm here.
09:16I don't.
09:17But people think it's a slam dunk.
09:19We've led this race for too long.
09:21We've led the race for too long.
09:23Do you hear yourself?
09:24I just wanted, like, all of this.
09:26Mac, do you hear it?
09:26I just nod your head yes or no.
09:28What world do we lead this race for this long and then it actually comes through?
09:32The world in where he's from Northeast Ohio and this is the best ending to his story.
09:37That's the world.
09:38I think we're playing a lot into an ending of a story that I don't know that he necessarily cares
09:41the same way about.
09:43I just want you to know you're in a safe place.
09:44If you want to, we'll get you a special white jacket where you can't.
09:48We'll remove your belt.
09:49We'll make sure that the scissors and the sharp objects get out of here.
09:53This is a safe place.
09:55The trust tree with the nest.
09:56And you're okay, Jonathan.
09:57I'm just telling you where my gut is telling me, okay?
09:59You always say the loins.
10:00You always talk about the loins and where you feel it and where it is.
10:03With 24 hours left to play here.
10:05And I think I'm on a 24-hour clock down.
10:07I don't know.
10:07I've made up a timeline.
10:09I've made a timeline for this whole entire thing.
10:12Here is Chris Haynes on NBA on Prime Summer League action talking about the status of Le Watch 7.0.
10:21I've talked to LeBron James agent Rich Paul and he said LeBron James has all the information needed.
10:26So now it's all up to LeBron James to make a decision.
10:29So as of right now, he is in deliberation phase.
10:32And so we can expect, well, we hope to expect, I should say, that he will make a decision at
10:39some point soon.
10:40But definitely the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, they're in the mix along with the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota
10:46Timberwolves, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
10:48Everyone took this to be a different level of announcement.
10:51I took this in stride.
10:53The people that wanted to put out the alarm things on quote tweets of this thought it was like, oh,
10:59we're in a completely different mode now.
11:01Now it's like, yeah, if that's true, we'll see.
11:05It was the most of a vague thing I think I've ever heard.
11:08So he's deliberating as opposed to last week when he was just golfing.
11:11Is that the idea?
11:11No, he was not deliberating.
11:13No, he was just golfing, right?
11:14No, he was contemplating.
11:15Oh, contemplating.
11:16Yeah, now he's deliberating.
11:18And eventually we're going to get to maybe, you know, maybe doing some of this.
11:21It's not even a word.
11:22He's just like, ah, I've got to think about this.
11:25I like that it's also like, he's got all the information now.
11:28Yeah.
11:28As if Rich Paul, and he might, he legitimately might, put together like packets and be like, so this is,
11:33this is what you're.
11:34Yeah, maybe, maybe, could be.
11:36Whatever gets through to LeBron.
11:37We'll have to ask LeBron what gets through to him and like lays it all out and like, these are
11:41all the scenarios.
11:41As if LeBron hasn't considered the scenarios at hand.
11:44Yeah, it's funny to me.
11:45Like, I know you've made a couple career moves.
11:48I clearly have made a couple career moves.
11:50And, you know, the tougher thing was to lay it out to other people.
11:55You know, like, I just, I'm sure that there are people relaying things through Rich Paul that LeBron is curious
12:02about.
12:02But, like, the idea that LeBron, as much as he pays attention, is as much, as honed in on he,
12:09as he is at any point in the NBA.
12:11The idea that he didn't have a general idea of where he might go in his options, like, three weeks
12:16ago.
12:17And now he's told, now it's a totally different ball game.
12:19It's like, what could anyone possibly tell him?
12:21No idea.
12:22Yeah.
12:22Zero.
12:23I mean, there is a part of LeBron that wants people to beg.
12:25So, maybe he did want to see some of that.
12:26Maybe he wanted to see how serious other teams were and everything that comes with it.
12:30I'm not really sure.
12:31By the way, we keep getting now reports the Pacers are emerging as a surprise team.
12:34Don't buy that for a second.
12:35Yeah.
12:36Who's reporting that?
12:37Alex Golden.
12:39And so, there's a couple different.
12:40He's a radio guy.
12:41I don't want to take a shot at him.
12:42He's, yeah.
12:43And he's, you know, he writes for the Pacers on SI thing, whatever that is.
12:47He's calling it like the Halliburton connection is too much, basically.
12:50And now LeBron is emerging for that.
12:52And I just don't.
12:53That's nice.
12:53Honestly, I'm surprised every writer, every local writer for an NBA team should have done
12:59basically what I think the Timberwolves writers all did, which is just speak about it and
13:03talk about it and say that they're interested and then just make that the content.
13:06Might as well.
13:07Why not?
13:07It's not going to happen.
13:08It's not going to happen for Minnesota either, but why not just put the articles and get
13:11the clicks?
13:11I'm kind of certain that's what happened with Denver.
13:14Like, Denver's in, Denver's out.
13:16No, Denver is worse than that.
13:17Denver's just Bill Simmons thinking it was a good idea.
13:19Yeah.
13:19And then everyone else being like, oh, Bill Simmons thought it up.
13:22Let's go with this.
13:23Like, you can point to the genesis of the Denver conversation with Bill Simmons putting the
13:27nuggets out there in the world.
13:28So I think with your anxiety, all right, with your anxiety about it, I think I might have
13:33clued in.
13:33Okay.
13:34I think it's, I think it's easy to feel confident when the Cavs are competing with five other
13:40teams for LeBron, because you can, you can start like once you dispel one, you can dispel
13:46all right.
13:47Whereas if it's very specific warriors versus Cavs, then it feels real.
13:53And then it's like, well, crap, look what they have.
13:55Well, when we first started this thing 12 days ago, that's kind of what the conversation
13:58was.
13:59It really was, we hadn't done the heat thing.
14:01We hadn't done the Sixers or the Timberwolves or the Nuggets or all these other teams.
14:05It had been, oh, the warriors are the front runners.
14:07And there is it.
14:08And then I, you know, you compile your list of reasons why, and you think about it.
14:11And this is the hard part of this conversation.
14:13We don't know what LeBron is thinking and we don't know what he's prioritizing.
14:16We haven't the entire time.
14:18And so you, you go back to, it's a good story, which I think 99% of people listening right
14:21now love that thought.
14:23It's like, yes, it's a good, it's the best story he can have is going back to Cleveland.
14:26What if LeBron just doesn't care about the story?
14:28Yeah.
14:29Well, okay.
14:29What if he, what if the whole Golden State thing, what if Bill Simmons actually is right
14:33about something for once and Golden State's always been leveraged to make sure that the
14:37Cavs are honest in their discussions?
14:39Because even though that relationship is so much better than it was in 2011, I mean, why
14:44did it break up in 2018?
14:45Because Dan Gilbert decided he needed insurance in case LeBron left again and traded Kyrie Irving.
14:50Could be.
14:50The interesting part about this for myself is that there is a scenario that exists where he
14:54goes to Golden State and the reaction is universally, of course, it was always Golden State, short
15:00flight over from Los Angeles.
15:01They play a lot of games in the West Coast.
15:03So he's really close to his home.
15:04He's got golf.
15:05He's got Draymond.
15:06He loves Stephanie.
15:07He loves Steve Kerr and all these guys.
15:08And it was always Golden State.
15:10The same way we also exist where if it's the Cavs, those same exact people can sit there.
15:15Oh, it was always going to be the Cavs.
15:18The story.
15:19He's a story guy.
15:20Of course, it was always going to be the Cavs.
15:22He needed to make this ending the right one.
15:24And I just find it interesting that we live in this world now where because we've been
15:28doing this now for so many days, both stories and both conclusions, Warriors and Cavs, both
15:33have that.
15:33Of course, it was always going to be narrative.
15:36Sounds like we need to lock it in because we can't control what a bunch of, let's say,
15:42disingenuous NBA media members do where because they've talked about all six scenarios, they'll
15:47then go, hey, remember, I talked about this and this is why I'm right.
15:51We're not going to do that because I'm going to say, right, I'm locking it in.
15:54He's coming to the Cavs.
15:56He is.
15:56If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
15:57But I'm not going to then be like, well, I knew it was the Warriors the whole time.
16:01Yeah.
16:01So I just I've solidified my spot.
16:03And this is a time.
16:04This is not the time.
16:05Nope.
16:05I feel I feel uneasy right now.
16:08Nope.
16:08That's exactly the time.
16:09Why hit me when I feel my queasiest about this whole entire discussion?
16:12That's life.
16:13Yeah, that's not fair.
16:14Yeah.
16:14I don't love that.
16:17No, which is exactly what you should.
16:18I refuse to lock it in.
16:19Why do you have to be in a good, cushy spot?
16:21I refuse to lock it in.
16:22You're in the zen spot.
16:23You're in the cushiest spot of all.
16:24Oh, my God.
16:25Yes, I am.
16:25I'm in the anxiety-induced, oh, my gosh, what is happening right now?
16:28I'm popping out of it and join me on the other side.
16:30Weed is legal.
16:30I don't pop out of it.
16:32Yet.
16:33Right?
16:34Yeah.
16:35You might get bored after the kids grow up.
16:36I don't know what you're going to do.
16:38You start to get really lonely.
16:39Like, my kids kind of pay attention to me now.
16:41Is that the road that I'm going down?
16:43Oh, I think it's every dad.
16:44Like, you're like, the downside of being a really involved dad is, once your kids are
16:49like, you're no, it's not that you're no longer cool, because my kids are still, we're still
16:53pretty close, but it's like, yeah, dad, I'm going to go play on my tablet, or yeah, dad,
16:56I'm going to go outside, and it's like, oh, okay.
16:59You want to sit here and cuddle with dad and watch a movie?
17:00Yeah.
17:01So, yeah.
17:01We went to Buffalo.
17:03Those things are legal.
17:03We went to Buffalo over the weekend, and one of Elise's family members, because like
17:06my kid, my oldest kid even follows me to the bathroom, right?
17:09Oh, yeah.
17:09That's just kind of how it is.
17:10And so she followed me to the bathroom, and then I came back down, and then Elise's
17:14uncle was like, boy, you get no chance to breathe with that one, do you?
17:17And I'm like, yeah, no, that's just life, and that's fine, but you make a good point.
17:21I don't know what will happen five years from now when she can, you know, do things on her
17:23own.
17:24So you might as well start the Ativan now.
17:25I'm not going to start the Ativan.
17:27By the way, the Ativan's a placeholder.
17:28Whatever, whatever's going to dial you back in.
17:30I do want to point out, and this is, I hope LeBron's listening right now.
17:34Me too.
17:35Me too, LeBron.
17:36Let's put that on the record.
17:36And why don't you go ahead and tweet about it?
17:38At Nick Wilson says, At J. Peterlin, you know, again, don't do like the, oh, I'm listening
17:42to 92.3 The Fan.
17:44I need specifics.
17:45I want the Pete Schrager treatment out of this.
17:47Okay.
17:47But the reason why I want LeBron to listen to this is, for a while I've said, no one's
17:52going to love you, LeBron, the way Cleveland's going to love you.
17:55I have now mountains of proof.
17:58We're going to play one piece of audio, but I've heard similar sentiments in Miami.
18:01I've heard similar sentiments in Philly, in, oh my gosh, where, Minnesota, in, I haven't
18:08listened to Minnesota.
18:09That would be a lie.
18:09But in San Francisco.
18:11What base does Philadelphia have for loving LeBron in a highway?
18:12Well, no, that's the, but my point is, he's not just not going to be loved there.
18:16He's going to be treated like Spike Eskin, who's our counterpart at WIP in Philadelphia,
18:22sets it up if LeBron should join the 76ers.
18:25I'm hoping, LeBron, if you're listening, if you're thinking about Philadelphia at all,
18:30and you're thinking you're going to get some hero's welcome, I want you to know that there
18:34is one person who has a very loud voice that is not giving you a hero's welcome.
18:39That is, you don't think, you're like, ah, I'm LeBron, nobody holds me accountable.
18:43Everybody in the media kisses my ass, I'm LeBron.
18:45No, no, no, no, no, not here, not here, pal, not here.
18:49You try to trade our young guys to get one of your old friends?
18:52You want the team to draft Shabazz Napier, and then you leave?
18:55You want Russell Westbrook?
18:57Whatever nonsense you want here, I'm calling you out.
19:00So understand, you're not getting a free ride.
19:02I did forget how LeBron brings out the blowhard.
19:06Don't make the laughs or what?
19:07Just the, you're not going to get it here.
19:10It's like, you're not that important.
19:12I'm sorry.
19:13By the way, Spike Eskin's the future of this company.
19:15It's a stupid thing for me to say on record.
19:17He was just the prod director, a program director, rather, or brand manager at FAN.
19:23Was, was the key there.
19:24So this is, there's, this is not smart to do.
19:27That is schlock jock, look at me Louie kind of thing that quite frankly, LeBron is completely
19:33above in Cleveland and is above nowhere else.
19:37He's above it?
19:38Yeah.
19:39People don't do that with LeBron here.
19:41Yes, they do the, oh, I know where LeBron's going.
19:43That's as bad as it gets.
19:44And by the way, we genuinely look at those people and go, you're full of crap.
19:48Like no one's going to have that, that blowhard take that Spike Eskin had of like, there's
19:53one guy in Cleveland that's going to keep you honest.
19:56And it's me.
19:57And if he does, he works at like an AM station and nobody listens.
20:01Yeah.
20:01That sounded very specific.
20:03I did not mean that.
20:05No, no, no, no, no.
20:06That was not a specific shot.
20:08You know, I've been, I have no problem taking specific shots.
20:11I'm not going to get blowback for something I didn't intend.
20:13Why are you so scared about this shot in particular?
20:16I don't know.
20:17It's not what's going to happen to me.
20:18They're going to send me a crappy text.
20:19But the point is, it's not specifically about anyone.
20:21And if you think we're talking about you, we are.
20:24And you know what?
20:24I'll be honest with you.
20:25How about that?
20:25The only guy in town who holds those AM guys accountable is me because I'm not having
20:30it here.
20:32There's a specific hand motion.
20:34Tough talking Spike Eskin.
20:35How about that?
20:35When I was listening, I'm not kidding.
20:38I didn't take it the same way you took it.
20:39That's why I was fascinated by that.
20:40I didn't, I just didn't, I, I, I can't tell you the hand motion that I can't, I can't
20:46tell and I can't do it because we're on YouTube here.
20:48There was a hand motion as I was listening to this video that I made in my car.
20:54This is this idea of we're bigger than LeBron.
20:56Is it when I get Italian?
20:58Nope.
20:59It's not when I get Italian.
20:59No, but if you turn it sideways.
21:01Oh, really?
21:02Yeah.
21:02Hello, sports fan.
21:03Yeah.
21:03All right.
21:04Getting back to those low ends.
21:06We're not that kind of show, Jonathan.
21:07I, I, I don't understand why basically anybody would think that Spike Eskin is going to be
21:13the one to hold him accountable.
21:14You heard, you heard the Philly fans last night.
21:16They were booing children in the outfield.
21:17Okay.
21:18The Philly fans will love you until they turn on you.
21:20That's how they always work.
21:21They will love you until they don't because you, look at Jalen Hurts.
21:25We had the guy yesterday on the air from Philadelphia.
21:27It was like, I basically send Jalen Hurts to anywhere but Philadelphia to play football.
21:32And he won the Superbowl two years ago.
21:33And all the managers won the Superbowl two years ago.
21:35Exactly right.
21:35Not even like five years ago.
21:36You, two years ago.
21:37And a good question.
21:38It's like, do you guys think Sirianni is basically, you said basically like an idiot or do you
21:42think he's a genius?
21:42Which one is he close to do?
21:43He didn't say idiot, but he, he, he answered with the one that isn't a genius is my answer.
21:49And they are like, this is, this is how Philly sports works.
21:51They demand a lot.
21:52They ask a lot.
21:53I get it.
21:54Uh, but I, you know, it is what it is.
21:56But I think to, to illustrate the point, I think why it matters is anywhere LeBron, I, I,
22:02listen, we can do to the, what's the best ending to a story and whether that matters
22:05anymore, you can't tell me LeBron after the last year and a half in LA doesn't want to
22:09feel the love.
22:10He didn't feel the love from the fans.
22:12He didn't feel the love from the organization.
22:15Golden state.
22:16Those fans aren't going to love you unconditionally.
22:19Miami, Philly, Minnesota, Denver, no one's going to live you unconditionally except Cleveland.
22:25It won't be unconditional.
22:27Uh, it may be Miami a little bit.
22:28I disagree with that sentiment.
22:30Maybe Miami.
22:31That is the, that is just a dog bleep sports town.
22:35And I'm glad I caught myself there.
22:36Well, they're not a great sports town.
22:38Bunch of front running jamokes.
22:39But LeBron won him two titles, took him to four.
22:43He's got a place in their hearts.
22:44And they still like Dwayne Moore, Dwayne Wade Moore, and that's, and that is part of that
22:48story that is not denying that that is part of that story.
22:51But I, I, I, I think the idea that he goes to Philadelphia and rides off into the sunset,
22:55listen, the part where spike is right though, and where all these other guys are right.
22:58If he wins a title for the first time in 43 years in Philadelphia, he will be looked
23:02at in another spot as one of the greats all time.
23:06And people act like it takes you a million years to become an all time.
23:09Great.
23:09You know, Kawhi Leonard after eight months in Toronto is arguably the best player the
23:14Raptors have ever had.
23:15Like you can do a lot really quickly in a short amount of time.
