A compensation mechanism for victims of fatal road accidents and serious injuries is being considered, says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister also told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (July 14) that illegal racers can now be charged and convicted even before an accident occurs, under a new Section 42A offence introduced through the Road Transport (Amendment) Bill 2026.
