HD Kumaraswamy Slams Karnataka Government Over Bidadi Township Row | Farmers Protest
ಬಿಡದಿ ಟೌನ್ಶಿಪ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಮಂಡಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ರೈತರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರದ ರೈತ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಧೋರಣೆಯೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಸೋಮವಾರ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಸರಕಾರದ ಚಿತಾವಣೆಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡದಿ ಟೌನ್ಶಿಪ್ಗೆ ಜೆಎಂಸಿ ಸರ್ವೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತೆರಳಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರೈತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has accused the Karnataka government of adopting an anti-farmer stance amid the ongoing controversy over the proposed Bidadi Township project. Speaking to the media in New Delhi, he alleged that officials from the Greater Bengaluru Authority conducted the JMC survey at the government's direction, leading to strong protests from farmers, including women from Mandahalli village.
The issue has intensified the political debate over land acquisition, farmers' rights, and the future of the Bidadi Township project in Karnataka.
