00:00PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadli Shari yesterday criticized Barisan National Chairman Ahmad Zayed Hamidi
00:07for suggesting that the Islamic party cannot be trusted.
00:10In comments earlier, Zayed dismissed claims that an agreement had been reached between BN and PAS
00:15over seat distribution at the upcoming New Greece and Birland state election.
00:19The UMNO president said there was only an understanding in place presently.
00:24He warned BN that PAS could not be trusted on the matter and may move the goalposts at any time.
00:30Responding on Facebook, Fadli said PAS may adjust its strategies, players and tactics,
00:35but its ultimate goal would remain unchanged.
00:38He insisted that PAS would never team up with anyone only to score an own goal.
00:43Fadli said the New Greece and Birland election would serve as proof that PAS always keeps its promises.
00:49PAS President Abdelhadi Awang had previously claimed that an in-principle agreement
00:53was in place for BN and PAS to defend their existing seats in the New Greece and Birland state assembly.
00:59Prior to its dissolution, Pakatan Harapan held 17 seats, BN 14, PAS 3 and Bersatu 2.
01:06The election will see Pakatan Harapan and BN contest all 36 seats on offer.
