00:00I'm going to go back to a team we mentioned earlier, and that's the Chicago White Sox.
00:05This was an organization that was supposed to be the worst team in the American League.
00:09Now, you made the point earlier, there's a lot of bad teams, a lot of bad baseball going on in
00:15the American League right now.
00:16But Sox have to be a storyline of both Chicago teams.
00:20I mean, here's both Chicago teams with the potential of maybe getting into the postseason here.
00:24But this White Sox team has been a surprise in the first half.
00:30100%. They've been actually my favorite team to watch outside of my favorite team, St. Louis Cardinals.
00:35And in large part, they're kind of the same identity where they just said, hey, we're going to throw a
00:40lot of young guys and exuberance and energy into these lineups and these rotations.
00:44And we're just going to see what happens. And what has happened is a lot of these young young guys
00:49have kind of seen that opportunity as a, hey, this is my career.
00:52This is what I want to been wanting to do since I was a kid. I'm not paid.
00:56You know, I'm not paid like the Bryce Harper's, Manny Machado's, Fernando Tatis is of the world.
01:01I'm going to go out there and I'm going to grind. I'm going to run the first base on every
01:04single ground or I'm going to make chaos happen.
01:06That's who the White Sox are. When you watch them one through nine, there's not a hitter in that lineup
01:11on any given day.
01:12Whether you're talking about Tristan Peters, who was a Savannah banana three years ago, you know, I look at just
01:19the energy, the excitement, the fun that they're having.
01:22And that's what ultimately baseball should be like in every single clubhouse.
01:26But you watch the Yankees who are second in the AL right now and everything, it feels like it's, you're
01:31just like watching like a funeral service.
01:33It just kind of feels like, nope, everybody's checked out. Everybody's in it for themselves.
01:38The White Sox are not the Cardinals are not. Heck, even the Pittsburgh Pirates are not a lot of young
01:43teams right now.
01:44And major league baseball are kind of making their way. And I love to see it personally.
01:49How in God's name are the Brewers a 59 win baseball team? You know, I mean, it's right. I mean,
01:57what is it?
01:58The division? Is it the way that they run that organization? You know, you talk about money ball down in
02:04Tampa.
02:04Here's another version of it, right? In Milwaukee, every year they're in the conversation. How?
02:13Yeah, no, it's, it's exactly. I think you nailed it. When you're talking about comparing them to Tampa,
02:17they, they play the small ball. They have energy. They have a mixture of veterans and youthful guys,
02:23and they have really great pitching every single year. I know this is a Cardinals fan being so
02:28aggravated by watching the Brewers just be successful year over year over year. They just
02:33like materialized pitching out of nowhere. I mean, they make a trade with the Red Sox for their scraps
02:38and they turn them into an ace. Like that's who the Brewers are. Quinn Priester, you know, last year as
02:43well, who hasn't even pitched this season. So yeah, the Brewers just have a very high floor.
02:48Will they ever have that high upside ceiling to actually win a World Series? I don't know,
02:53but absolutely. They're one of the teams that's just always going to win in baseball.
