00:20to hit the portal and not declare I had a couple options with my agents and was expecting to take
00:26a couple visits but you know as soon as I got on on campus at TCU I knew it was
00:30a place for me
00:32you know the family oriented culture I was just something that I was drawn to because you know
00:36you get that at Harvard you know you all you go there as a freshman you finish as a senior

00:41there's not any turnover and you know it's definitely a special brotherhood that you have
00:46there so just a unique spot that you know in this NIL era has the opportunity to have a culture

00:51that I was really looking forward to and then even more so you know when I got in the film

00:56coach Samus and coach Robbins just really knowing that I'd maximize my development here you know
01:02football is a above-the-ear sport for quarterback and I knew that when I was making the decision to
01:07come here that you know I was going to maximize my development and if you had to describe your game
01:12in one word what would it be and why versatile I think you know I can get it done with
01:17my legs and
01:18the pass game you know if a play breaks down it's not over you know I can I can make

01:23things happen even when plays are shutting down so if I had to use one word to be versatile
01:27how excited are you to go overseas for your first game of the season and have you ever even been
01:32out the country yes I have been out of the country but it's an exciting opportunity to
01:38just continue to put football on the global map I think it's a special thing and not something I
01:43ever thought I was going to be doing and playing a game in Ireland but you know I'm definitely looking
01:47for it's the opportunity and I'm definitely excited for it what's one thing that fans should know
01:53about you that would surprise us like personality wise or just in general anything um
02:02I don't really know if I have an answer for that I'm just a chill guy I don't got much

02:07besides football I like to like to keep a you know simple lifestyle so just just a basic normal dude
02:14and what's one personal goal that you have for yourself this season I can't I can't speak for
02:20anything personal I think I think if I just you know look in the mirror and you know that I

02:25everything to you know make everybody around me the best version of themselves I'll be satisfied
02:29with you know my season here um because we got we got so many talented guys and we got the

02:35to do it but I think you know if I take that step as a leader to bring them all
