00:00Tier 1 is reserved for a special place and I will say in American history because these are ones
00:04really that I think everyone knows. My kids even know some of these and they were obviously not
00:10alive to hear some of it. So let's start with Jim Mora, Jimmy Stewart. Playoffs? Don't talk about
00:16playoffs. You kidding me? Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game. Okay, that one has stuck around
00:23forever. That was a long time ago. You bet. That was a long, long time ago. And in that same
00:27vein,
00:28Allen Iverson, we're talking about practice. That one's on the list. Here's one that I put on
00:34because, again, it wasn't in a press conference, but I just think it really became part of
00:39American culture in a lot of ways. LeBron James, I'm taking my talents to South Beach. That was an
00:45interview with Jim Gray on The Decision. That was on ESPN at the time. The Boys and Girls Club. Yep.
00:50So not really a true press conference setting, but I'll allow it for the purposes of this.
00:55And then the last two are Boston-based. One, again, an all-timer here that goes down in Boston
01:01history with Bill Parcells. They want you to cook the dinner. At least they ought to let you shop for
01:05some of the groceries. There you go. Okay. I mean, that one will never go away is the defining line
01:11of the Bill Parcells-Robert Kraft dispute. And then one that I think a lot of people give Belichick
01:20credit for in the midst of deflating. Go ahead, Jimmy. I'm not an expert in footballs. I'm not
01:26an expert in football measurements. I'm just telling you what I know. I would not say that I'm
01:34Mona Lisa Vito of the football world as she was in the car expertise area.
01:43How ridiculous that was in real time. It was. I mean, even to hear it again all this time later,
01:47but I remember my mouth agape listening to that. And then on the Brady end of it, too,
01:51me yelling at the television, run, Tom, stop talking. He looks so stupid.
01:55It was one of the few, like, what I would say, entertaining, like really entertaining press
01:59conferences that Bill has ever done. And, but that comment, like, will live forever. No one
02:05will ever forget that.
