Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way we work, create, and consume information. But is the AI ecosystem creating a new digital economy where users become increasingly dependent on AI tools while genuine human creators struggle to be recognized?

As AI-generated content floods the internet, a new industry has emerged—AI detectors, verification tools, and authenticity checkers. Is this simply the natural evolution of technology, or does it create a cycle where AI generates the problem and AI sells the solution?

This opinion piece explores the growing debate around Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-generated content, creator rights, originality, misinformation, and the future of human creativity. Are AI companies reshaping the internet for innovation, or are content creators paying the hidden cost?

Watch this in-depth analysis on the AI business model, the future of digital content, and whether the balance between human creativity and artificial intelligence is beginning to shift.

00:00is the use of AI killing our creativity is the dependence or over dependence on
00:08artificial intelligence making us less productive are the next generation are
00:15the kids latching on to the AI just because it is easy and why just the kids
00:22even the adults those in the creativity sector those in health sector in the
00:28legal sector are they also using AI just to reduce their workload and care or
00:35not care to hoots about the actual product is the collective memory and the
00:42collective understanding of us as a nation as human beings degrading because
00:50of the excessive use of air this is the first premise of our discussion today my
00:56name is Pankaj Misha you would have seen my shows on the world affairs but today
01:02while sitting in the newsroom and discussing the creativity part and the
01:08credibility part I was compelled to come to you and discuss and trust me the
01:14discussion is without teleprompter only a few sheets of paper here which have data
01:20which have rules and regulations that the AI LLMs have created but the question is in
01:29the quest in the bubble of this AI boom there are voices who are saying vedo kiyo
01:37loto who are saying go back to the roots who are saying go back to originality
01:42original content why they are saying so because they are the powers that be they
01:49are the ones who are paying us they are the ones who are paying thousands of
01:54people their salaries every day and why I am mentioning it here because the need
02:01to be genuine the need to be original is coming back thick and fast even faster and
02:11understand it earlier that one could have imagined after the advent of AI roughly
02:16two years ago I am personally referring to the use of artificial intelligence in
02:22writing in creating content in videos in research in infographics all those
02:28things which enable us to present the picture be it global or national to you the
02:34viewers so that you trust us the question today is while we are doing it
02:41while we are trying to give you the information there are platforms where you
02:47see us like Google YouTube Facebook Instagram Twitter the question is and the
02:55concern is and that's why I mentioned about those who are the powers that be
03:00that are we getting punished despite putting the effort are the are those who
03:09are not putting in the effort using the AI and pushing content are they diluting
03:16the effort this question is something that every content creator is grappling
03:23with and to understand it better I personally feel that we need to look
03:32closer possibly through a prism of a business model where the AI tools first
03:39gave us the impression that hey look it is easy this is comfortable this is
03:43trustworthy all you need to do is to make certain changes check the viability and
03:49then push it on we latched on to it suddenly there is a core update from
03:56Google so the traffic on websites went down the word went around that it is the
04:04AI generated content names I won't take of the LLMS you know it better than me
04:09you would know far more than me when it comes to the use of AI I should know
04:14better I know that but the use of AI the AI generated content on websites news
04:24websites or your own corporate website was reducing the reach was reducing the
04:31value of the page so the debate started that how can we fix it Google was
04:38approached Google explained its core updates and said that it's not banning AI
04:44but the low quality AI produced content or the microwave recycled content is the
04:51problem the problem is here that there are always two three sets sets and
04:56sections of creators who would be jostling for your space your attention when
05:02they do this the person who is doing it with genuine interest with genuine you know
05:09a pen or pencil to the paper approach even his efforts get lost there the thing is
05:16should he upgrade yes he should one should definitely but whether the LLMS and the
05:25platforms are they in hand in glove are they in cahoots with creating an ecosystem where
05:33you use one LLM you become almost addicted to it and then certainly there is punishment from the
05:40platforms then you are forced to reduce the use of it then that same LLM says hey why don't you
05:47use
05:47this tool which can tell you how to humanize it well win-win situation you save the effort and time
05:54and
05:55the time to research on certain things and not many things you produce your content and then you go and
06:00humanize it lo and behold that's the scenario nice but here comes the competition the other LLM model
06:09the other LLM tools which you would use to detect the use of AI and the use of human how
06:18much is human
06:18how much is AI because that is the governing factor now that who is more human who is more genuine
06:24that's the
06:26debate that is happening so the other LLM models tool will not give the same result as you had got
06:33from the first one saying that this is this much person of AI this is this much percentage of human
06:38even if you have redone everything done to the last detail and then you check it on other LLM it
06:45won't
06:46help you the question is are there any tools to detect it the answer is no there are not many
06:52tools as of
06:52now in fact not even a single one which can tell you exactly that this particular content piece this particular
07:00creative piece is AI or human they can only hint at it but no one would claim it my premise
07:09of this whole discussion
07:11with you is is creativity then getting compromised what about those writers those editorial piece writers those
07:22journalists those young reporters the creative artists musicians poets authors painters sculptor creators all these things
07:36even engineers and doctors and lawyers I would say those who can you know interpret the prescription
07:43the way they want those who can create a structure the way they want the coders all of them are
07:49we heading to a time
07:50when we have to go back to the originality to the humane part of every aspect of our life I
08:00started by saying creative content right writers and content creators
08:04but as we go ahead everything comes under the ambit of creativity be it making this camera
08:11be it making this whole studio be it the paper that I am holding be it the color of this
08:16highlighter that I have all those things
08:19are we actually being given an option now to mend ways kill the use of AI use it smartly reduce
08:30the dependence on it
08:32and still wield the pen in your hand where you can freely express your notion because
08:38if it is not done in time all you will be doing you will be paying the LLMs here and
08:45there inadvertently unknowingly
08:48you will be spending money dollars and everything and the product that you will get will compete in the market
08:55only in terms of how human it is
08:59because the ultimate user would make the distinction there he would be the ultimate judge who would rank you and
09:08rate you on the basis of your own involvement in that particular piece
09:13that's what I wanted to speak to you that's what I wanted to discuss with you I'm sure there are
09:17a lot more things to be discussed
09:19but do share your experiences your comments your own merits demerits and the understanding about the use of AI
09:29we promise you One India would be bringing this decoding session we will go live also with that in the
09:36days and months to come
