00:18Greetings comrades, I'm reporting from Beijing to bring you the news about China and Russia
00:23that began the Joint Sea 2026 naval exercise on July 6, an operation taking place in waters near
00:33Qingdao in China's Shandong province and scheduled to continue until July 13. The drills are part of
00:41an annual cooperation program between the two countries and bring together warships, submarines
00:48and support units for their navies. The training includes maritime reconnaissance, tactical
00:56coordination, air defense and missile defense operation, as well as joint exercise for different
01:04maritime security scenarios. After this phase, naval units from China and Russia will conduct
01:12joint maritime patrols in the Western Pacific Ocean. China's Ministry of National Defense
01:19say the activities aim to strengthen cooperation between the two navies and improve their operational
01:27capabilities. Meanwhile, China also announced the successful launch of a ballistic missile from
01:35a submarine capable of carrying nuclear weapons into the Pacific Ocean. The test used a simulated
01:44warhead and was designed to assess the reliability of its weapon systems, response capability and
01:52the readiness of its force. According to Chinese authorities, the launch achieved its expected objectives.
