00:00we have not done this in a while we haven't so we have not spoken publicly for the better part
00:09of the last two years and it's not because we haven't had anything to say right because lord
00:14knows we have but it just felt like every time we went to make a video like this we wanted
00:22to speak
00:23something was telling us not to it just didn't feel like the right time
00:28and we were talking about it and feeling into it and praying about it and and this feels like the
00:34moment so here we are not being said there is so much to say and it makes it hard to
00:42speak it makes
00:43it hard to figure out what is what is right for and we're not going to say it all for
00:46this specific
00:47moment yeah of course not but what does feel important is that we can genuinely say that we
00:57are sitting here today feeling immense gratitude for so many things and so many people and so many
01:05things that have happened to us gratitude has saved us it has um and i also feel that it's important
01:13as we say that in that gratitude it it doesn't negate the injustice and the pain that we have also
01:22felt in
01:23the last few years um and we've had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many
01:31things
01:31like how could something like this even happen um let alone disguise as a fight for women
01:40so much to unpack and the truth is reality is is that there's been a lot of trauma for us
01:47to
01:47move through as a family um which also makes it hard to speak and we we don't even know this
01:56is the
01:56right thing to say but we just know we need to share something what i will say is that there
02:03have been
02:03so many
02:10painful things that have been spoken into existence untruthful over the last couple years and that
02:20created so much noise and we didn't want to add to the noise so we just wanted to let the
02:24justice system
02:27run its course
02:31and the truth and the facts have spoken for themselves
02:37and here we are all right so so how are we doing that's when people see us on the street
02:45how are you we are we are healing and if you've ever been through something traumatic you know that
02:54healing isn't linear it looks different every day um and we have had to rethink for ourselves what is
03:06real
03:08and what matters and it's this it's this it's the kids it's our family yeah it's our friends it's our
03:15community who have been there for us it's our faith i think we're closer and more devoted and
03:22steadfast in our faith than we've ever been
03:28also this and this has been on both of our hearts
03:33there were so many of you
03:36who
03:38when we didn't have a voice were our voice
03:43you had a prayer at the very beginning which was that you just prayed that people would have
03:46discernment
03:48and so many of you had discernment and you used your intuition and you trusted that
03:53and you have given your time to fight for us
03:57and thank you does not feel like enough
04:01but we're here
04:02in large part like because of so many of you and all of our friends and family
04:09and one thing that we've learned is that when
04:11when god presses the reset button and everything else is stripped away
04:16that that's when love shows up
04:18and i did
04:19and we feel so loved
04:22and there is so much more to say
04:24and
04:25and we will
04:26we'll say
04:27that time will come
04:29but for now
04:30we are going to focus on
04:32continuing the healing
04:33and hanging out with our kiddos
04:36and enjoying life
04:38and
