00:00Well, I want to thank you very much. As everybody knows, it's been very much reported. We are great friends.
00:07The President has done an incredible job just landing at the airport to see such a beautiful airport and to
00:14have a building named after me. I'm very happy about that. It was very nice. The airport is absolutely beautiful.
00:23The roads coming in were brand new and beautiful.
00:25And he's been a great leader and a respected leader all over the world. And we really do. We've had
00:33right from the beginning good chemistry. We've had a very special relationship. Turkey has become, under the President, a very
00:42powerful country militarily. People don't know how powerful it actually is.
00:48And they have a lot of our equipment. And they have a lot of great soldiers. And they're really somebody
00:58to be reckoned with. And the nice part is that because of the relationship that we have, it's all gone
01:05very well.
01:05I just want to say that I have a lot of respect for the President. And I think it's really
01:13to the benefit of both countries. We're going to be talking today about trade. We're going to be talking about
01:19other things having to do with the military, lots of different things.
01:23And probably we'll mention Iran, where we have essentially decimated their military. They cannot have a nuclear weapon. And we're
01:33going to have some very good discussions. But we do a lot of trade with Turkey.
01:37We make great things and they make great things. And we've had a very, very, it's had a very big
01:43impact on both of our countries.
01:45So I just want to tell you that it's an honor to be with you. And we're going to have
01:50a lot of good meetings. We're going to have good dinners, good food. We're going to have a good time.
01:57But mostly we're going to have a lot of work.
01:59And we're going to do good things for our countries. Thank you very much, Mr. President.
02:03The decision we're going to make. We have a very good relationship. And I would think that many people, I
02:12can tell you, many people, particularly the people sitting right here, thinks, you know, why wouldn't we do that?
02:18We have a better relationship with Turkey. And Turkey's been in many ways much more loyal than other countries that
02:24we think would be loyal.
02:25So we've got something we certainly would consider. It's a great plane. It's the best, currently the best plane by
02:33far. And it's certainly something we will consider, yeah.
02:38The business is special. Some people you get along with, and some people you don't. Sometimes you get along with
02:47the toughest people, like him.
02:49Sometimes you get along with the weakest, most pathetic people. Just don't get along. Maybe you don't respect them. But
02:57I, you know, from the day we met, we got along.
03:02We had a pastor. I remember his name was Pastor Brunson. And it was a very big thing. And he
03:10was very traumatic. He was sentenced to a long-term prison sentence. And I felt he was innocent. And I
03:18called. Other people called. They got nowhere.
03:21I called the president. And he released him immediately. Something that the evangelical community will never forget. And he was
03:31a good man, Pastor Brunson.
03:32So, you know, just things like that, we just have always, it's always worked out. And I think it's been
03:39from the very beginning, from the first moment. This is just, I said it before, it's a chemistry that works
03:44between us.
03:45There were those that I don't have a good chemistry with. I will tell you that. And we worked that
03:51out, too.
03:52I was very disappointed with NATO. And frankly, if it weren't held in Turkey, where my friend happens to be
04:00a very strong leader, a very strong person, it's possible that I wouldn't have attended.
04:09I felt I had to attend because of the fact that, you know, I know he's gone all out. It
04:14was a big thing to have NATO come to Turkey or anyplace else. It's a big thing.
04:18But we weren't treated well because we did something in Iran. We don't need anybody's help. I didn't even want
04:26the help.
04:26But before I asked, they said they wouldn't be there. And we've invested trillions of dollars in NATO. Why? To
04:36protect European countries and others, Canada, etc.
04:41But to protect people, countries from, generally speaking, it used to be the Soviet Union. Now it's Russia. And I
04:50say that's fine. But you would think that they'd be very willing to do something to help us.
04:57And they really weren't. In the case of the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister, I guess he's no longer there.
05:04Maybe because of this. It was a very unpopular thing he did. He said, no, we'll help after the war
05:10is over.
05:11I said, I don't need that kind of help. We didn't need any help at all. And in a way,
05:16I was testing people. I was testing to see whether or not they'd be there.
05:19Because that's wrong said that we helped them, but I'm not sure that they'd be there for us. And Italy
05:24turned us down. And Germany turned us down. And France turned us down. And it's okay.
05:31But, you know, why are we spending hundreds of billions of dollars and they're not there for us? We've always
05:38been there for them.
05:39I think she's a nice person, actually. We've had a bad relationship. It became a little bad because she refused
05:47to help us. Again, I didn't put a heavy press on her.
05:51But she refused to get involved with the Hormone Street. Or you could also say just Iran. She refused to
05:59get involved.
06:00So it's soured by relationship with her a little bit. But I like it. I think she's a nice person,
06:05actually. But I think she made a mistake.
06:08You know, they get a lot of their oil from them. We don't get any oil. We have a lot
06:10of oil. The United States has more oil than anybody.
06:14And when you add Venezuela to it, it's like we have far more oil than anybody. We don't need the
06:19streets.
06:20We do this because we think it's an important thing to do.
06:23But she just wasn't there for us. And I wasn't happy about that. You can imagine. I wasn't happy about
06:31that.
06:32I just don't want them killing people. You know, it doesn't affect the United States.
06:36When Biden was here, he gave them hundreds of billions of dollars worth of equipment.
06:41Now I sell the equipment for, you know, fair price, full price.
06:46And I sell it not to Ukraine. I sell it to the European Union. They pay us.
06:50But with me, it's not anything to do other than I'd like to save lives.
06:55You have 25, 35, 30.
07:00One time they hit 41,000 a month souls.
07:05They're dead.
07:06They leave their mother in Ukraine.
07:08They leave their mother and father in Russia, Ukraine.
07:11They wave goodbye.
07:13And a week later, they're dead.
07:16It's crazy.
07:17And I would like to see it.
07:19It doesn't affect us.
07:20It's really, you know, it's far away.
07:22It affects Europe much more.
07:25We're there to help Europe.
07:26But it doesn't affect the United States.
07:28We have an ocean in between.
07:31But, you know, it's just, I can't stand watching what's happening.
07:36But I've seen the pictures of those battlefields.
07:39And it's a drone war.
07:41It's a war of drones.
07:42It's a whole new technology.
07:44And we're actually the leader in drones now.
07:46We have the most sophisticated drones.
07:48But people wouldn't believe how violent it is.
07:51And I've seen the battlefields.
07:53They send me pictures.
07:54I actually want to say, don't send them to me.
07:56Pete, this man right here, sends me pictures.
08:00Pete X said.
08:01And I said, Pete, you know what?
08:03This is enough to look.
08:04I've never seen anything like it.
08:06It's carnage.
08:08And it should stop.
08:09And we're going to get it settled.
08:11And President Erdogan is helping us get it settled.
08:14As he's helping with arrest.
08:17That's my favorite relation to the United States.
08:20I think it's a message to help you in Denmark.
08:24Denmark doesn't spend money to really help the Greenland.
08:28But it's an important part of the United States.
08:31And it's surrounded by China's ships and Russia's ships.
08:35And that's not going to happen.
08:36The ships.
08:37It's not going to happen.
08:39It was Greenland that, and it continues to be,
08:43that should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark.
08:47And when they wouldn't go along with it,
08:48and with all the money we spent to help them with Russia,
08:52and we don't have to spend any money,
08:54we could remove all of our soldiers out of Europe.
08:57Because as you probably noticed,
08:59Europe's a very different place than it was 20 years ago.
09:02A lot different.
09:03Much different.
09:04Much different.
09:06And they better be careful.
09:07With immigration and energy.
09:10If they're not careful with those two things,
09:12you're not going to have a Europe anymore.
09:14You don't have a nice body.
09:14You'll have a great day.
09:14Gracias.
