00:00Adarsh, first of all, welcome to IONES.
00:03And first of all, you should know that
00:05Adarsh, you have lived in a character in a character.
00:10But in the voices of the land,
00:13you are connected with real people
00:15and their own stories.
00:17What is this transition for you?
00:20How challenging and transformative was it?
00:25It was challenging because
00:27I was very vulnerable feeling that
00:29I was just as Adarsh,
00:32for 5 episodes,
00:34which I have never done before.
00:37I have never hosted before.
00:38So, I was just thinking about
00:41what people can see for 5 or 6 episodes.
00:44But I actually enjoyed it.
00:48It's so unique experience
00:50that the Northeastern region
00:54and the states,
00:56the most special tribes with their
00:58time spent with their
01:00history and languages.
01:05These are very intimate details
01:06and they don't get such a chance.
01:08If you go as a tourist,
01:10you won't get this chance.
01:13So, I think I am very lucky.
01:15And I got the chance to work with Edstead
01:16who are our producing partners.
01:20And Megha Ramaswamy,
01:23who was my first friend.
01:24I got the chance to work with them.
01:26Which we discussed many years
01:26that we want to do some fictional
01:28but we actually started with
01:30a non-fictional format.
01:32And I am very very excited
01:33for the show to come out
01:34and for people to watch.
01:38So, I feel the appreciation for life
01:56which I got the opportunity to see
02:05among those who are
02:06the locals' guides were.
02:08Our local guides were.
02:08He told us that
02:09in a year,
02:11or five months,
02:12the water is filled up.
02:14So, if they are in Scotland
02:15in the house,
02:15they cannot go down.
02:16If they get into the boat
02:17in a small riddle,
02:19the boat is in the car
02:21for four or five months.
02:22Because the whole
02:23of the whole Vita
02:24goes out.
02:25And then they go down
02:26on the boat.
02:27They go on the boat.
02:27They go long to going to the boat.
02:28Then they go up
02:30as challenging the rest
02:31of their lives.
02:32But in spite of that, which is a positivity towards life, a curiosity towards getting to know people, new people,
02:43which is openness, it's a very great thing.
02:47And there are very little things that we often forget about these things, but a lot of things, every day,
02:52we learn something.
02:54TV is a big theme of nature and indigenous community.
03:08I think that what they have indigenous knowledge of forests and trees and plants,
03:15that knowledge is very quickly going to disappear.
03:21Like our father-in-law, we had some kind of cut down on the tree.
03:27So there are such types of trees that you can rub it in place, then you can get cut down.
03:33And there are many other things.
03:35So this indigenous knowledge of forests and our surroundings and our surroundings, this has been very quickly.
03:42Which I think is very important to learn from them.
03:46That in which way there is a symbiotic relationship with their nature and our surroundings.
03:54Development of course is very necessary.
03:57But conscious development I think is the only way forward.
04:01Where you respect your green spaces and grow together.
04:07You have worked with White Tiger, Zubba Boyd, Malikov, and some international producers.
04:14Because in the commercial cinema, there is a big fight for you today.
04:21In the commercial cinema, there is a big fight for acceptance.
04:25Maybe, for any of the actors, it is the biggest fight for any of the actors.
04:29Because India is a very diverse country.
04:32And there are so many different languages and people who live there.
04:36So such a film that works in the whole country,
04:40and such a performance that resonates in the whole country,
04:43it is very challenging for any of the actors.
04:44And it is for me too.
04:46So yes, I look forward to that challenge.
04:49And I hope that I can do such a film that will reach more and more people.
04:53And I also can reach more and more people.
04:57When a film is struggling in box office,
05:00does the perspective of the industry also change the actor's perspective?
05:03Do you think the performance is too much?
05:08I am not sure.
05:09This is probably...
05:14I don't think it's a special thing.
05:20But I think that my focus is always on my performance and craft.
05:26And for me, it is not something that is important.
05:30Do you think that in Bollywood,
05:32there is no talent for outsiders,
05:35but not extraordinary patience and luck?
05:37How do you want to find success?
05:38For anyone to find success in any field,
05:40there is a extraordinary luck that you need.
05:44You are well connected.
05:46But if you don't have destiny and luck,
05:52you cannot do anything alone.
05:55I think this is a very big view.
05:57And our delusion is that we think
05:59that we are in control of our life.
06:01But actually, it is not.
06:02So it is hard for anyone.
06:05As an actor,
06:06when you work with senior actors,
06:08what advice do you get?
06:10What advice do you take home?
06:12Do you think that on-set advice is so good?
06:18And I think,
06:20it is good.
06:25I think it's good.
06:27I am always inspired because I have a habit that they watch a film every day, they consume a lot
06:34of cinema and I think actors and creative people in general it is important that as much cinema you can
06:44see, you can expose yourself to the world of cinema and other thoughts that you can expose yourself to your
06:53mind.
06:53So I am very inspired by that. I also try to watch these films.
06:59If you want to describe this whole sentence, what have you taught in Voices of Land?
07:04What have you taught in Voices of Land?
07:07I taught Voices of Land.
07:13Lastly, what do you want to give a message to your clients?
07:18I am happy to enjoy this film. For future projects, there is an Alien show that I am doing Season
07:252.
07:26I am very excited. I am going to go out on the shoot.
07:29There is a Telugu film called Happy Birthday, which I did last year.
07:34Hopefully, that will be the end of the year or the beginning of the year.
07:38I am excited for that.
