00:00We currently have 10 rescue dogs but today we may have our first dog going to her forever home.
00:06It's going to be a crazy day but we're starting picking up poo. Welcome to the Golden Kobe family
00:12shelter. Let's go over how last night went. We have got all the dogs out to try and go for
00:19a wee
00:21before we somehow attempt to put all of these dogs in crates. No idea how that's gonna go.
00:27All right so Kaya and Louis are not in crates because they're not doing very well in them
00:31and so we have built a barrier so that hopefully they can't come upstairs. Dogs will be keeping
00:37nana and you. We've got a camera right there. Oh the struggles of the first night. So all the dogs
00:43were settled in bed and they were actually pretty good. We had Kaya out of the crate because she
00:47wasn't very comfortable and she was fine and Louis was really good too. Tomorrow night we're not
00:52actually going to bother creating Bruno because he doesn't really need it and to be honest it was
00:56a pretty easy first night. It'll come down as crazy as I thought it was going to be. My god.
01:04These are so loud. All right let's let Jocky out. Come on Jocky. Come on Kaya.
01:12Good girl. Zaza, you're being very good. Good girl. Come on then.
01:17All right get ready to catch Becca. Hang on dogs. Come on Becca. Good girl.
01:25Hello Louis boy. Louis's being very brave. Hello Jocky.
01:31Hello Kaya, Ivy, Zaza, Lola, Becca, Kobe, Moki, Bruno. Absolute chaos.
01:40So I've got 10 bowls ready for breakfast. I've been downstairs for about five minutes and I am
01:47a mess already. All the dogs jumping up on us. How we fed the dogs yesterday for dinner seemed to
01:53have
01:53worked so let's do it again for breakfast. We're just feeding Becca now because we took her inside
01:58so that she didn't go crazy outside and get her paw wet because of her bandage. Ella is going to
02:04clean
02:04Bruno's paws because he had a little accident in the crate blessing. This is outrageous how many dogs there are.
02:09But because we've seen what Bruno is like, I don't really know why we created him in the first
02:14place. I think it was more like so he has his own space. But we're going to be taking these
02:19two crates
02:20down because Zaza is going to go in that crate over there. Bruno doesn't need his crate. Kaya didn't
02:27need a crate. So that means we're actually going to get back some of our lounge because the only crates
02:31that are going to be staying up are these. And so we have this corner back and we can put
02:36up a table
02:37so we can actually eat food. I found another new technique, a bit slower than the last one.
02:43We've got Kobe and Moki in there having their breakfast. Ivy's here going nuts. So basically
02:50whilst Ella's outside I'm kind of just like opening the door very quietly. Whatever dog sneaks in
02:57then I'm just going to feed them. Granted if I have to do this 10 times like that is going
03:01to take a long
03:02time so probably not the best. Wow Ivy that was quick. Good girl. This technique is a lot slower
03:08but see there's another way to feed. I wonder what she can start up too. We've got Jockey in here
03:15who's
03:15just finished hers. So all that's actually left to feed is Kaya and Bruno and Louis. There you go Kaya
03:22good girl. We have trapped a wild Louis. He looks so much like a Jockey. Louis boy he's a bit
03:31scared
03:31I'll bless him. I bet he won't be scared when he sees that. There he goes. Come on Bruno.
03:39Come on Bruno you can do it. Bruno's in. All right shut the door let's get the rest of them
03:43out. And last we've
03:44got our special boy Bruno who we now know takes about 20 minutes to eat bless him. So he's got
03:51his own
03:51special Matt. Oh I'm just going to help him out. Are you going to stay there for the 20 minutes?
03:55So this is only the second day after all the newbies have arrived and usually after the second
04:02day because of their travel from Macedonia in the van like they're just super super tired. So what
04:07I'll say let's say the newbies. These are the older dogs. There we go. We've got Kaya, Louis, Zaza and
04:13then
04:14Bruno is in there. Absolutely out. It makes us really happy to see because he's never been in a house
04:19before. So it's really nice to see him enjoying that. Next we're going to get our professional
04:24dog behaviorist in to work with Kaya because we want to see if you can still teach an old dog
04:31new
04:31tricks. The very first thing we're going to do is I knew that would get your attention is teach eye
04:38contact because again we want that common language right and if we've not had any training before
04:43then we need to make sure we get that. So it's exactly the same as before. Treat goes on the
04:48floor.
04:49Yes good girl. I'm actually going to give her a treat just for sitting because she was pestering.
04:53Well it was a massive pestering of my treat pouch but I don't encourage it which is why I ignored
04:59it
04:59and then when she did the behavior I wanted I marked and rewarded her. So we're going to put the
05:04treat
05:04on the floor again. She eats it, looks up, looking at my pouch won't earn it.
05:13Yes. Yes. She looks adorable sitting like that. She's so cute. Yes.
05:23Yes. She's quick. She is quick. Is she? She's learning. Yes. She's learning very quickly
05:30looking at the pouch doesn't earn it. Yes. Oh yeah. See her thinking it. Yeah. Let's start with sit
05:38because you need to sit before you do a down. Yeah. We're going to use luring. I put the treat
05:43right
05:43in front of her nose and mouth. Yes. And as soon as she's her bottom hits the floor you mark
05:51a new reward.
05:51Okay. Yes. Oh. Okay. And then pretend there's a treat. Do the same. Yes. So then that becomes
06:01the hand signal. And now we can add the word sit. So I'll go back. I'm going to drop the
06:07word because
06:08I don't want to poison it. So she's forgotten. We go back to luring. Yes. Okay. We want to build
06:17success.
06:17Yeah. So she should go back to luring. Yes. So if it doesn't work you go back to treating a
06:24couple
06:25of times then fade it. Then treat a couple of times fade it. So that they learn. So I'm going
06:30to pretend
06:30there's a treat. Yes. And there comes the treat from afterwards. Yeah. Yeah. And then I'm going to try
06:40and put the word in again. Sit. Yes. Oh my god. And there you go.
06:47You're moving away from me when I say that.
06:52Ivy. Oh, you can jump this in there. Yeah, look at her. Oh, here comes jockey.
07:00Bruno. Oh, Bruno's a bit slow.
07:08I've been learning though not to jump it because she's just watching Zaza going, that's not going to
07:12this woman's tough.
07:17Oh, jockey.
07:21Jockey. Oh, good girl, jockey.
07:25After all the training was done, you could start to see just how much all the dogs are starting to
07:30bond and how crazy these next two weeks are going to be.
07:34Hello, Bruno boy.
07:38Oh my god.
07:42Yeah, we do.
07:44Chaos. Dogs, stop ganging up on Becca. Moki, Kaya.
07:48Stop ganging up on Becca. Chaos. Oh, look at Louis.
07:53Meanwhile, all the chaos, we have got Bruno here just getting some emotional support from his mum, I think.
08:01Oh, bless him.
08:03And this is how me and Ella are now trying to eat dinner together.
08:07Like, it is just getting insane.
08:09We've tried to put like somewhat of a barrier around us to try and give us some peace,
08:13but didn't really work.
08:15This is starting to become one of my favourite times of the day,
08:19when pretty much all the dogs are just out.
08:23Kirby and Moki are asleep upstairs.
08:25Jockey's decided the tarp is her bed.
08:27It sounds like surprisingly laying down outside,
08:30upstairs while I'm tired.
08:32Louis, bless him.
08:33So now let's head over to Happy Shelter, where we're going to introduce you to one of the biggest dogs
08:39that we've ever met.
08:41Hello, boy.
08:42Hello.
08:43So Caesar is an Asian shepherd dog.
08:47Is that it?
08:47Asian shepherd dog?
08:48The transformation of Caesar that Happy Shelter have done is insane.
08:51He was found in terrible, terrible condition.
08:53Nobody wanted to help him because he was so big.
08:56Everyone was super scared of him.
08:57But Kamau and Happy Shelter were nice enough to bring him over.
09:00And how long has he been in the shelter for?
09:0310 months.
09:03Wow, is that it?
09:04And in 10 months, you can see, I mean, he not only looks completely different,
09:08I'm sure he acts completely different.
09:09He's so friendly.
09:10Hello.
09:11So he's got something wrong with his legs, doesn't he?
09:13Come on.
09:14Come on.
09:15I'm not sure I wanted to jump.
09:16Come on.
09:17Oh.
09:19That's like, come on.
09:22Come on.
09:23Come on.
09:26He's still like a puppy, isn't he?
09:27Yeah, I know.
09:28So donations help dogs just like Caesar.
09:32Yeah, so sadly, you can see his legs are, I mean, I don't even know.
09:35They're not even like bow-legged.
09:36They're like inverted, aren't they?
09:38But the transformation of him is absolutely amazing.
09:42Yeah, sadly, his ears have been cut.
09:44Oh, his legs make me really sad.
09:46But donations can help to support Happy Shelter
09:49and help to save dogs just like Caesar.
09:52Caesar was one of the biggest boys I've ever met.
09:55But now we need to take Becca to the vet for a checkup.
09:59Good girl.
09:59Oh my God, she's so chill.
10:01Yeah, she's really, really good.
10:04Good girl.
10:07Good girl.
10:08So we're coming back out of the vets now.
10:11Becca got prescribed more antibiotics.
10:13Come on, Becca.
10:14We also got a swab done just to make sure that the antibiotic she's been having
10:19is actually doing something.
10:20So her paw did get infected.
10:22So they cleaned it, re-wrapped it.
10:24She's got this adorable little yellow bandage on there now.
10:27And that is another £191 gone.
10:31Very, very expensive, but worth it.
10:35Worth it for Becca.
10:36And now something amazing is about to happen because Lola has got her potential adoption
10:41family coming to meet her for the first time.
10:44And she may be the first dog that gets adopted in this series.
10:49Aww.
10:51She's like, don't take that off.
10:54Aww.
10:54It's all right, baby.
10:55Hi, baby.
10:57Aww.
10:59Straight there.
11:05I'm probably a bit overwhelmed.
11:10That's her daughter behind you.
11:12Look, I told you.
11:13Oh.
11:13Do you just need to care if I'm warm?
11:15You just need to care if I'm warm.
11:16Oh, God.
11:19Enjoy.
11:19All right, bye, guys.
11:19See ya.
11:20Enjoy your poem when I'm warm up.
11:22Enjoy your life, Lola.
11:24Thank you guys so much.
11:28Bye.
11:28Bye.
11:31So we have literally turned our house into a shelter
11:34because we're fundraising for Happy Shelter.
11:37And this is where pretty much all of these dogs came from.
11:40More on that in a little bit.
11:41But if you can't afford to donate,
11:43then you can simply hit that subscribe button to donate a penny.
11:46You can follow us on Instagram.
11:48We're going to be posting every single day on there.
11:50And that will donate another penny.
11:52And then you can add us on Snapchat.
11:54Just scan the QR code and that will donate a third penny.
11:57So the new dogs are settling in really, really well.
12:00Our biggest surprise is definitely this one.
12:02When we were last in Happy Shelter, like we genuinely didn't see him.
12:07Hello, Louie boy.
12:09Oh, like he was hidden the entire time.
12:11So we thought he was going to be like worse than Jocky.
12:14And we cannot believe that he's like this.
12:17Like he wants pets.
12:18Sometimes you stop petting him.
12:19Like, look, he's like, he wants more, which is just amazing.
12:22Zaza is also doing really well.
12:24She was actually a bit scared yesterday because it was her first day.
12:27But she's starting to do really well.
12:29And honestly, we are knackered.
12:32Like we are exhausted.
12:34I think having all of these dogs and having to look after them obviously is hard enough.
12:39But then also obviously filming a video for you guys to come out Mondays or Friday,
12:44like nearly every single day.
12:45Like, yeah, it's a lot.
12:46It is a lot.
12:48But of course, we're all doing this for a good cause.
12:51Each one of these dogs deserves a second chance.
12:54And we really want to make sure that they go to really, really good homes.
12:58And so if you're able to donate, you can scan the QR code on screen right now.
13:02You can also see a link in the description.
13:05100% of donations are going to go to Happy Shelter.
13:08And they help Happy Shelter continue to support dogs just like these.
13:12Because you can see their amazing personalities.
13:14I mean, look at these two.
13:15They're so cute.
13:16We're getting so close now to our £30,000 goal.
13:19When that happens, we're going to try and get like a van or something like that.
13:23And we're going to put all of these dogs in there and take them to like an enclosed space
13:28so they can be off the lead and basically just enjoy somewhere completely new.
13:31And we're going to see where we're at with the donations.
13:35So we have hit just short of £20,000.
13:40Over 600 people have donated.
13:43That is insane.
13:44And we have got a new top donor.
13:47Francois with £534,000.
13:51That is insane.
13:52Like what a crazy amount of money.
13:54Look at Louis.
13:56Francois, thank you so much.
13:57Please reach out to us on Instagram.
13:58We'd love to film like a personal video for you.
14:01Send you some merch.
14:02Like we want to be able to thank you.
14:04Oh, got a bit too close to Louis.
14:05And some honourable mentions.
14:09Christina, Christine with the £5.
14:11Caleb with the £10.
14:13Anik with the £37.
14:15Thank you guys so much.
14:16Thank you to everybody that has donated.
14:18If any of you guys live in the UK and you think you'd like to adopt one of these dogs,
14:23then all of their links are in the description.
14:25Bruno Oslo dog is currently sleeping, but tomorrow he's going to have his first training session with Dilnaz.
14:32It'll be really interesting to see how he gets on.
14:34We'll see you then.
14:38We'll see you then.
