00:00Brazil has to win. Yeah. Brazil has to win. They gotta win. They must. All right, we're here. Five
00:04side on B in sports. We are into the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, giving our predictions
00:09on
00:09the biggest matchups. First up, Brazil versus Norway, the Sunnage Live 5th at MatLife Stadium.
00:16Brazil has to win. Yeah. Brazil has to win. They gotta win. They must. I mean,
00:21I have no genuine real issue with the Norwegians. I think something just about the row gimmick has
00:27rubbed me the wrong way. That just might be my personality, who I am. The row? It's rubbed you
00:31the wrong way? I need you to explain that. Yeah, because that's what fans always have to say.
00:36Just like this. Yeah. Maybe give some context. I was in the stadium for Norway against Senegal.
00:43Obviously, I was rooting for Senegal, so that's part of why I've been leaning negatively towards
00:47Norway because they beat a team I was supporting. Talking about Norway and Brazil, so I think from
00:51a Norway-Brazil perspective, what we need to really focus on is how Brazil can just defend
00:55Haaland because ultimately he is the focal point. Watching Haaland play against Senegal,
00:59the way he runs after the ball, the way he doesn't give defenders any time is something that the
01:04Brazilians need to worry about, but that's about it. And I think defensively, I don't think Norway
01:10has had to play a team, aside from France, who they lost to, that has the offensive talent that
01:16Brazil has. So I have a lot of faith in Brazil. I think the Brazilians are on a path that
01:20feels
01:20very predestined from a soccer perspective to go quite far in the tournament. So my prediction
01:26is that Brazil ends up taking that maybe 2-1, 3-1. But ultimately, there's still a lot of
01:31nerves for the Brazilians. So we'll see.
01:33Yeah. I mean, I'm wondering how you guys feel about Cunha. I feel like, obviously, he's an
01:38incredibly talented player. I'm concerned about him playing that false nine position because
01:43I sort of feel like Brazil is lacking a striker that you can just feed the ball back to goal
01:48and will back down some defenders and take up some space and even feed back out to the
01:55wings. I feel like he's a very direct player, but for some reason, it feels like it's not
02:00really working with Vinny on the wing and Ryan on the other side.
02:05What about the other games, though, besides Japan? Because Cunha's got a couple goals.
02:08No, he's scoring. I'm thinking about the system moving forward because even against Japan,
02:13I felt like it just got stagged at points. Or it was just like feed Vinny the ball and
02:17let him go one-on-one versus in the way that you talk about Holland kind of taking up space
02:23and feeding back out to the wingers. I don't know. I feel like I wish Brazil had a physically
02:29present nine, I guess, is my point.
02:30Against Norway, it makes sense based on the roster that they have. I don't think you put
02:33Hendrik in the box to get bullied by the Norwegian centerbacks. I don't think that's a disservice
02:37to Hendrik. He also hasn't even had the time to like, you're kind of throwing him in the
02:41fire like that. So I think Cunha falls nine ultimately is what you go with for this game.
02:44Yeah. I mean, the thing about Brazil that's really good is they have two phenomenal centerbacks.
02:49Yes. Who have been playing.
02:52Both in the Champions League final.
02:53No, no, no, no, no. Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhães.
02:56So I think they'll be completely fine taking care of him.
02:58What do you think will happen?
03:00I mean, I think Holland will get a goal, but I'm going to go Brazil 2-1.
03:02Okay. Definitely favoring Brazil. A little bit biased towards them, Vinny from my favorite play
03:06as well. But I think Brazil 2-1. Holland will score though.
03:09I think one thing that has been encouraging about Brazil is Vinny also isn't hogging the
03:12ball. Like he knows how to like, if this is not working, I'm going to cycle it.
03:15Yeah.
03:15Casemiro getting up there. It's a good sign.
03:17He just scored.
03:18Yeah.
03:18Martinelli actually had the biggest goal for his Brazilian career.
03:23By far. And Vinny's been in his best Brazilian form ever for sure.
03:27Four goals and an assist. So he's doing great.
03:30Holland likes to rip this script though, bro.
03:33Yeah. It would be an upset, but it wouldn't be that crazy to me personally. I think Norway
03:37is a really solid team.
03:38It would just be crazy on paper.
03:40On paper. Yeah. Name-wise, historically, it's crazy.
03:43Norway beat Brazil.
03:44Yeah. Because they was crying after winning the round of 32.
03:47Exactly.
03:47Nusa was in tears.
03:48Yeah.
03:49Because Norway, they don't be in the World Cups like that. This is a recent resurgence
03:53of that.
03:53Are they going to wear the black belt kit?
03:55I hope so.
03:56I hope not.
03:56It depends who's home. I think Brazil is home.
04:01They had that third kit though. You saw that? The white, that's their third kit.
04:05The white ones too.
04:05I didn't even know they had three kits.
04:06Yeah. I didn't know they had a white kit.
04:08The white kit is actually tough.
04:09Who do you think wins?
04:11I'm very scared for Brazil.
04:12Oh, no.
04:13I really want them to win that game. It's just watching them play against Japan and
04:17Japan kind of take over the game in the way they did. I mean, it's the same thing
04:21I've been saying about Brazil since before the World Cup where it's like this team just
04:25isn't scary. They have scary moments, but they're not taking over.
04:3090 minutes.
04:31Yeah, yeah. I agree.
04:32In games when they should.
04:33But the belief that they have, I think.
04:35I'm not worried about Brazil, Scott.
04:36The belief that they have, I think, is a different type of team.
04:39Of course, I'm not worried about Brazil.
04:40I don't know.
04:41It's a different type of team.
04:42It's not a scary Brazil, but it's a Brazil that believes, and I think that's enough.
04:46Yo, I want it to be. But I wish I was watching a Brazil team that I'm like, yo, teams
04:52are going into those games afraid.
04:53Yeah.
04:54But it's just not that. So, I don't know. I want Brazil to win, but we'll see.
04:58We'll see you next time.
04:59Bye-bye.
05:00Bye-bye.
05:00Bye-bye.
05:00Bye-bye.
05:00Bye-bye.
05:00Bye-bye.
05:01Bye-bye.
05:02Bye-bye.
