Brooke Miller from South Jordan, Utah, USA recorded the moment her friend Hans went to the bathroom after a casual pickleball session and never returned, turning what was meant to be a fun day into an unexpected rescue situation.

Moments after he entered, confusion spread among the group when he failed to come back, prompting one of the kids present to reveal that he was stuck inside the bathroom and unable to open the door.

What followed quickly escalated as friends gathered outside the door, initially laughing and calling out to Hans while joking about how they had already played three games without realizing he was missing.

The situation soon drew attention from nearby strangers who arrived after hearing shouting and checked in to see what was happening. As attempts to open the door continued without success, concern grew and eventually a kind passerby contacted emergency assistance.

After multiple failed efforts to free him, professionals were called to the scene and ultimately forced the door open, successfully rescuing Hans from inside. The moment he stepped out, relief and laughter filled the area, with friends joking that he was “alive” while children cheered in excitement, turning the tense situation into a memorable and lighthearted ending.
