00:07Dune Awakening launched in 2025.
00:10Since then, we've continued expanding and improving the game alongside our players.
00:16Over the last year, we've released over 15 updates.
00:19Two new chapters.
00:20Reworked the endgame, made PvP optional.
00:23So many quality of life changes.
00:25And all of it came from playing feedback.
00:27Now, Dune Awakening is finally coming to PlayStation and Xbox on September 22nd.
00:33And with it, all versions of the game, including PC, are getting a big update,
00:37making this the new and improved version of Dune Awakening.
00:41September will bring the most evolved and complete version of Dune Awakening ever.
00:46If you've been playing since launch, if you've stepped away,
00:49or maybe you were waiting for the console release,
00:51here is everything that's changed, and everything that's coming next.

01:01Six.
01:02Five.
01:03Four.
01:04Three.
01:05Two.
01:06One.
01:06Four o'clock.
01:08Hit it!
01:12When we launched Dune Awakening, the goal was to keep evolving the game
01:16with feedback from all players that joined us since launch.
01:20And one thing kept coming up.
01:22Let me play solo.
01:23I need single player.
01:24Let me play alone.
01:26Let me play solo.
01:26Let me play solo.
01:27Now.
01:28And we're finally making it happen.
01:30Single player.
01:31You'll be able to experience the full game in your own private world.
01:34Just you, and the vastness of Arrakis.
01:38And because it's your world, you'll also control how challenging that experience is.
01:43You can choose from preset difficulty options,
01:46or customize every aspect of the experience yourself.
01:50If you want to focus on the story, building,
01:53or maybe want the most punishing survival experience,
01:57those choices will be available to you.
01:59You can even change them while playing.
02:01And because we've been able to make those options available for single player,
02:05they come into private servers and self-listed servers too.
02:08This expanded control over your world will let you control storms,
02:12progression speed, durability, building rules, PvP settings, death penalties,
02:17and much more.
02:18Players who want to shape their own version of Dune Awakening
02:20will have far more freedom to do so.
02:22September also marks a huge milestone for us.
02:26Console launch.
02:27On September 22nd, Dune Awakening will arrive on PlayStation 5
02:31and across the Xbox ecosystem,
02:34including Game Pass support, Xbox Play Anywhere,
02:38and cross-play cross-progression throughout Xbox platforms.
02:46September 22nd. Console release.
02:53So then, you're not quite dead.
02:59Great plots are afoot in the Imperium, and the currents of intrigue run deeply.
03:05Dune Awakening launched with Chapter 1 setting up the stakes for the world,
03:09leading to a big reveal.
03:11With the chapters we have released since, we have expanded the story further,
03:16leading to the big update in September.
03:18And this will be what you've all been waiting for.
03:20The conclusion of the story arc that we're calling Book 1, Awakening.
03:25Some of this was originally planned for the Chapter 4 update,
03:29but it has since grown into something bigger,
03:32expanding the story and bringing its major mysteries and long-running questions
03:37toward a satisfying conclusion.
03:40It's not every day we get visitors here.
03:42Prepare yourself.
03:44This is not the end of Dune Awakening's story.
03:48But with this chapter, players should feel like their journey has reached a meaningful milestone.
03:54Who are you?
03:58We've also redesigned how players access their world and characters.
04:02When you launch the game, you'll now start from a more character-centric experience,
04:07making it easier to jump between your different adventures.
04:11Because multiplayer worlds are shared experiences,
04:13there are still some boundaries in place.
04:16Single-player characters remain in single-player.
04:18Private and self-hosted characters have greater flexibility
04:21in how they handle characters and the rule sets.
04:23And transfers between official servers have been streamlined.
04:27Players can pack up their bases and vehicles and move to a different world.
04:31The goal is simple.
04:33Make managing your Dune Awakening experience easier, clearer and more flexible.
04:43If you haven't been following Dune Awakening since launch,
04:47the game has changed substantially.
04:49All of these changes will be available on console on day one.
04:53Across 15 updates, multiple major chapters, 4 DLCs, also available on day one on console.
05:00We've expanded the experience in some fundamental ways.
05:04One of the biggest discussions around the game was PvP.
05:07We heard clearly that players wanted different ways to experience Arrakis.
05:12So we moved away from a one-size-fits-all approach.
05:16And today, PvE is the default experience on official servers.
05:19The entire game is playable in PvE only, if that's your preference.
05:24But for players who want PvP, you can venture into a dedicated PvP deep desert with additional rewards.
05:31And for players who want something even more extreme, a fully PvP world is possible in private and self-hosted
05:38servers.
05:40End game progression was another major point of feedback.
05:44And we knew it needed to grow.
05:45So we reworked the end game experience.
05:48Expanding what players can do after reaching the later stages of the game.
05:52The Deep Desert remains central to resource gathering.
05:56But we added Lands' Rad missions, new objectives and 13 new repeatable mission locations
06:01to create more reasons to keep exploring and progressing.
06:05Both the Deep Desert and Lands' Rad missions can all be played fully PvE.
06:10We also introduced specializations and augments, giving players more way to shape builds, increase power,
06:18and customize how their character develops in the Elder game.
06:22We've also made major changes to base and vehicle management.
06:25Single player and custom server setups can remove those pressures entirely.
06:29And on official servers, players can now backup bases and vehicles while stepping away from the game.
06:34We also removed taxes and simplified upkeep systems.
06:38For players who enjoy customization and community-driven experiences, we also introduced self-hosted servers on PC,
06:44opening up entirely new ways to play Dune Awakening.
06:48And beyond these headline features, there have been thousands of additional fixes, improvements, balance changes, and quality of life updates
06:55across the game.
06:56We've got new contracts.
06:58More dynamic encounters.
06:59We've got character re-customization with a lot more new customization options.
07:04Deep Desert improvements, like making the Deep Desert seamless.
07:07Transport ornithopters can now travel to the Deep Desert with an attached vehicle.
07:11View distances improved.
07:13With rearranged layouts and improved resource spawning.
07:16Improved base inventory and bank storage.
07:19Added character transfers.
07:20Added more rewards.
07:21Improved server stability.
07:22There's just too many things to list in a single video.
07:30While we've been heavily focused on the September update, it's far from the end of the road.
07:36We've already announced the upcoming Polarcap map arriving later this year.
07:40And we're continuing to work on additional updates.
07:43We're just not quite ready to talk about them.
07:49September will bring the most evolved and complete version of Dune Awakening ever.
07:54Whether you played at launch, took a break, or are joining us for the very first time on console.
07:59We're extremely excited for you to experience this new chapter of Life on Arrakis.
08:06Definitely not.
08:08That is your tips.
08:09Go, offer,
