00:21Welcome to Rise and Shine, Filipinas. Thank you so much for being here.
00:23Congratulations, ladies!
00:26Nag-sinky na ba? Fresh from the win last Saturday lang to, di ba?
00:30Congratulations! I know you'll be busy for your reign, but siyempre, I would like to ask,
00:35how do you feel about you winning the elemental titles and, of course, as Miss Philippines Earth?
00:40Let's start with you, Miss Philippines Fire.
00:42Well, for me po, I just feel so blessed and grateful as one of the elemental queens.
00:49It has been such a long time since Agoo, and specifically La Union, represented their province in the Miss Philippines
00:58Earth stage.
00:58And I'm really thankful po na I'm coming home with a crown for my province.
01:04Congratulations!
01:05Ang daming Ilocana queens!
01:07Pero siyempre, not sure Manila represent 20, Mandaluyong.
01:11How about you?
01:13Ako naman po, I'm very happy and very grateful because we never know kung sino yung papasok sa top 5.
01:19And I'm just really happy because this is not just a win for myself, for my dreams, but for the
01:24entire Mandaluyong because they really rallied behind my back.
01:27So it's a success for all of us.
01:29Congratulations!
01:30Thank you!
01:31Prima!
01:33Ako po, I'm just really grateful.
01:35And also, to be honest, every time na tumangwi ni Isabella is called, sabi ko, Lord, thank you, thank you,
01:40thank you.
01:40Because we're competing with 31 other candidates amongst ourselves, so ang hirap niya, like, parang, you feel like you're not
01:47gonna be called anymore.
01:48And then when I already was called for top 5, sabi ko, any crown, I'm already so happy.
01:53And then I get to share the spotlight with her, so I'm already ecstatic at that point.
01:57And until now, I'm still thankful and blessed po that we're here.
02:02Reina?
02:03Ako naman po, it still feels surreal.
02:05I still don't feel that I'm a winner.
02:08I still feel like a normal candidate up to this day.
02:11It's my dream for the longest time to join a national pageant.
02:15It's actually my first national pageant.
02:17And thank you, I got to win it.
02:19And it's the first time that my municipality got to send a representation on a national stage.
02:24And I'm just very proud that I got to bring pride to my hometown.
02:29Balesteros.
02:30Yes, kagaya.
02:31Well, as a new Miss Philippines Earth 2026, how will you use your platform para bigyan ng kustisya yung climate
02:40change?
02:41Well, knowing that the Philippines is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world with climate change,
02:48I want to continue to be the voice for nations who are vulnerable as well
02:54and help our local communities here in the country, especially those who suffer the most.
02:59I believe that they are our local farmers.
03:03So I'd like to partner with our leaders, organizations, to further support them during these hard times.
03:10And I'd like to spread and strengthen environmental education online and using the platform of the Miss Philippines Earth Organization
03:19so that no one will be left behind as we move towards climate action and mitigating the effects of climate
03:26change.
03:27Parang gusto ko ulit sa corona.
03:28But of course, aside from that, it's the work that matters.
03:33The real work begins now that you already have your crowns in your head.
03:37Siguro sa iba rin yung mga advocacy niyo. How about you, Miss Philippines Air?
03:41I think very on brand talaga sa akin with Miss Air because I'm flying as a cabin crew.
03:45But more so, I think biggest concern talaga with air is the air pollution and it's kind of systemic actually.
03:52But with my advocacy, actually, it's already aligned with my crown as well
03:56because one of the problems that we're trying to solve with the application that we're creating
04:01is the carbon emission that is caused by the transportation of goods.
04:05Basically, my advocacy is about connecting the farmers directly to the buyers.
04:11But with the application, we're actually trying to get the investments from the LGU and the other private organizations
04:19so that they could help with the transportation process.
04:22Para isahan na lang po ang pag-deliver.
04:24And in that way, we're trying to mitigate or lessen the carbon emission that is made by the transportation of
04:30goods.
04:30So, yun po yung isa sa mga project kasi very systemic si air pollution.
04:34So, malaming corporations talaga.
04:35But with that cost, we can lessen it.
04:38That's doable. That's practical. How about you, Aliza?
04:42Sa kanon po, as the newest Miss Philippines water, aside from my own advocacy na urban gardening,
04:48I want to partner still with the LGU going down to the barangay, so the local communities, and even with
04:54the NGOs
04:54because it's a way for us to really protect our marine biodiversity,
04:58especially with the current plastic pollution that we are experiencing right now.
05:03We really need to teach our youth, especially, to be aware about it
05:07and reduce the single use of plastic and even practice proper waste disposal.
05:12And we need to do it consistently every day kasi even in the smallest way,
05:17it really has a big impact towards our planet, towards our environment.
05:21You're a nurse?
05:22Ano ba?
05:23I'm a communication guy.
05:24Ah, I'm a nurse.
05:26Ah, I'm a nurse. Okay, going to our nurse.
05:29Sige.
05:29What's your advocacy?
05:30Marirelate mo ba ito dito sa...
05:32Yes, actually.
05:34So, throughout the duration of the pageant, I've been saying po na change happens one path at a time
05:41because my name is Patricia, and people used to call me Pat.
05:45And I believe that through simple gestures of patting each other on the shoulder
05:50creates a reminder, a simple change and impact towards the lives of other people.
05:56And for such a long time, I've been championing environmental health po.
06:01Connecting it with being a nurse, it is something po na hindi pa really known to everyone
06:09that environmental issues are also human issues.
06:13So, when we protect our environment, we are also safeguarding the lives of each person, each individual.
06:20Kaya po, with this, I specifically pioneered projects back in my home,
06:26such as the Ayoko sa Siga campaign, that heavily focuses on anti-open burning.
06:31It creates a cleaner air for everyone to breathe in, while also preserving our natural resources.
06:38And I know that each individual can do it too.
06:42I mean, just by planting trees, that creates an oxidizer for our environment,
06:48for us to have a cleaner air and a safer earth to live in,
06:54by making sustainable choices each day, practicing sustainable home practices,
07:00such as conserving water, preserving energy,
07:03and a lot more things po na we can do and choose each day.
07:08So, yun po yung para sa akin.
07:10Talaga naman, beauties for a cause.
07:11Oo.
07:12At saka, as they protect or as they go with their advocacy sa environment,
07:16talaga naman, pati ekonomiya natin natutulungan.
07:18Oo, at saka maganda nakikipag-partner sa LGU.
07:21Oo, yun eh.
07:21Kasi collaborative effort na natin.
07:23Yes.
07:23You'll be representing the Philippines.
07:25So, ano yung mindset mo going to that international competition?
07:29And how are you preparing?
07:30At ano ba yung details itong this earth?
07:33Meron na ba?
07:33Well, since it's gonna be my first international pageant din po,
07:37I'm just excited and just po na enjoy the journey.
07:41So, with the preparations, we haven't started yet po,
07:43but I already met the team, Tito Roj and the others.
07:47I'm excited to meet them all and start the training as soon as possible
07:51kasi palapit na rin po yung international pageant.
07:54So, I hope to get the support of my fellow Filipinos
07:57on the upcoming Miss Earth 2026.
08:00And I am sure and I'll work hard for it to give you a good fight.
08:05Yes.
08:05Bring home the bacon.
08:07Yes.
08:07Bring home the bacon.
08:08Yes.
08:09Congratulations again to the winners of Miss Philippines Earth 2026.
08:13to wish you all the best as you start the real work
08:16now that you already have the crowns in your head.
08:19Congratulations!
08:20Thank you, queens.
