00:00So I'm Michael, I'm a business owner for Specsavers and also a director for Newquay Bid.
00:06Personally I think it's completely unreasonable. We can't deal with it, we can't manage that at all.
00:12There's been no consultation from Cornwall Council for any of the businesses in town.
00:17We go from 25,000 people throughout the winter to 100,000 over the summer and that will be ever
00:22growing.
00:23We've got developments coming all around Newquay, we've got mansledding, a lot of formal parking coming in.
00:28And I use this place myself as a resident here to park here when I can't park on my own
00:33street.
00:34It's really, really crucial that we get this parking.
00:37You've only got a look in July or a look in a weekend and this car park is full.
00:41We desperately need it. In terms of our patients we see hundreds of people every day.
00:46And all of those patients, the main concern they've got is either cost of parking or lack of parking.
00:50And we already know it's a huge problem. Over 10% of our business is minor emergency as well.
00:55So any of those patients that can't get here are ultimately going to put pressure on Tralisk.
01:00So I'm really, really, very passionate about making sure we get this right and it doesn't take part.
01:05The Does charge on Tralisk.
01:05Oh, we've got everything that we have on that board.
