00:02Return to office mandates gained steam in 2025, but remote work continued to rise,
00:08according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' latest American Time Use survey, according to CNBC.
00:13The survey found 35% of employed people did some or all of their work remotely last year,
00:19up from 33% in 2024. Workers with a bachelor's degree or higher were more likely to work from
00:25home at least part of the time. Women were also more likely than men to work from home and spend
00:30more time on childcare and household tasks. Randstad's 2026 Work Monitor found many workers
00:36still prioritize autonomy and flexibility, even as employers say remote and hybrid work has made
00:42collaboration more difficult. For all things money, visit Benzinga.com.
