00:04I think when it comes to AI now, the areas where we are focusing first is really the computing capacity
00:10because we have 8,000 startups in the European Union who are developing and training AI
00:14but one big obstacle for them has been computing capacity
00:17so now we are investing to 19 AI factories together with our member states
00:22one is here also in Bologna
00:24and then we open now also call for gigafactories very soon
00:28so this is one part
00:29but then of course we have to also support our startups to scale up their businesses
00:34and there we will start our scale-up fund very soon
00:36and there we have also several investors from Italy who are contributing now to this scale-up fund
00:42so it will help our startups to scale up their businesses in Europe
00:45and of course at the same time now we are supporting different industries also to uptake AI
00:51so we are working now in several fields
00:53but I think it's important also to recognize that we have many strengths in the European Union when it comes
00:58to AI
00:58especially if we have more AI researchers than anyone in the world and also very promising startups in this area
01:04it's very important that our citizens can trust to these technologies
01:10and that's why we have AI act in place in the European Union
01:14because we want also at the same time when we want to boost innovations we want to be aware of
01:19risks
01:19and we see of course now what is happening in the United States
01:23where they don't have anything like AI act in place
01:25and now they have many security concerns about these most capable models
01:30but in the European Union we have legislation that when you are coming with very capable models to the markets
01:36you have to notify these models to our AI office
01:39and you have to also assess and mitigate the risks
01:42so we have already legal framework in the place
01:45and I think it's important because of course also there is security and safety concerns in these models
01:50we all have to make the scientific practice
01:50and we laugh first
01:50so what if we think of this kind of ש hillётся
