00:26How has your life changed since becoming the leading man?
00:29Wow.
00:30Yeah, it's been amazing.
00:32It's really been life-changing.
00:34Airports are insane now when I'm going to work, but just a ton of support, a ton of love,
00:39just from all the passengers that I fly, saying bye to them as they're deplaning
00:42and just walking through the terminals just out in public.
00:44It's been amazing, and I feel very grateful for that.
00:47Which former bachelor has given you advice, and any of it stand out?
00:52Yeah, I've talked...honestly, I've been really lucky.
00:54I've talked to a lot of them.
00:56Colton, Nick, Ben.
00:58Ben's given me...I've talked with Ben a lot.
00:59Yeah.
00:59He's given me a lot of really good advice.

01:01I remember watching this season and just being like, that guy did it right.
01:03And, yeah, I use this as advice for sure.
01:07Okay, I want to talk about night one.
01:08Night one.
01:09What was your reaction, like, watching everything back?
01:12It was...you know, all the feels came back for sure.
01:16Because, you know, that's back a couple months ago now.
01:19And then the lull after finishing filming, and now I get to relive it all again.
01:23All the highs and the lows, and that was such a special night.
01:27That's always a fun night for the show, and one I'll never forget.
01:31And, obviously, a lot of unexpected stuff happened that night.
01:34Right.
01:34That was just not planned, and it was a great night for sure.
01:38When Monday night rolls around, do you get together and watch with your family, friends?
01:42Yeah.
01:42How are you watching?
01:43Yeah, so for the premiere, I got to have a cool watch party with all my close friends and family
01:47at my house.
01:47And that was just cool to have them around me and have all that support and get this thing going.
01:51Were there any comments from them, comments like, oh, man, I can't believe you let this person go?
01:56Or, what were you thinking?
01:58I got a lot of crap from my friends for the shirtless airplane caution.
02:01That was the biggest one.
02:03The top bad one of these.
02:04They're like, really?
02:05First time I've ever done that.
02:05That's fair.
02:06So you gave Hannah Ann the first impression rose, and she was pretty bold that night.

02:10So is that going to continue through the season from her?
02:13Yes.

02:14She is very, very bold.
02:16And one thing that I really appreciated about her, I love that quality.
02:19She was very intentional, always showed me why she was there.
02:22And, you know, personally for me, I love when she, you know, came up multiple times showing me, yeah, she
02:29was there for me.
02:30And she wanted to take advantage of as much time as possible.
02:32It wasn't too much.

02:34I want, as a Bachelor fan, I want to know, when people are interrupting you over and over again, what's
02:40really going through your mind?
02:41So with her, it stuck out, but like, do you ever get irritated?
02:44Okay.
02:45I, even, well, with her, it was, I don't think it was ever too soon, but if I just got
02:50into a conversation with someone, it's like, come on, like, I'm trying to establish something, you know, have something to
02:55hold on to.
02:56That can be a little bit, you know, shoot, bad timing.
02:59But, again, that's just part of it.

03:02And there's 30 women that first night.
03:04So, you know, yes, we have the full night, literally until into the morning, but that's a lot of conversations.

03:08So you kind of have to, you have to be bold.

04:05so much going into that night.
04:06And there was a lot of moments and conversations that I have with people and I, I could see,
04:11yeah, there was a lot of tears, but how badly they wanted to be there and how much it meant
04:15to me.
04:16And that was everything.
04:17That's all I wanted from that first night.
04:19And, um, I know it can be crazy.
04:21Like we just met, but it's real.
04:23And if you're feeling it, like, you know, that's all I could ask for.
04:25But please don't ever lose those crying montages.

06:19And I think, but that also comes from just the nature of this amazing experience.

06:41And to be honest, that also was like, that was one of the hardest things for me.
06:44You don't know who to trust.
06:45You don't.
06:46And I'm not in the house with them when a lot of this stuff's probably going down.
06:50I only see everyone, you know, you put your best foot forward.
06:52And so it's hard to really gauge, especially early on, because you're just getting to know
06:56these people who's really saying the truth.
06:58And you hear one story and then a completely different story.
07:01It's like, well, how do I do this?
07:02Tell me about your favorite date of the season.
07:04You don't have to spoil who it was with because God forbid you give us a spoiler.
07:08Right.
07:09But tell me about one of the fantastic bachelor dates that you got to go on.
07:12I mean, you guys already saw it.
07:14One of my favorite ones was the one with the vow renewal ceremony at my house with my parents.
07:19And, you know, I had a great date with Madison.
07:21And just, I remember going into this, I really was looking forward to the, because you know
07:26there's always some, like, music date where you get to, like, have a live performance.
07:29And I just thought that was so cool.
07:30So I got that in it.
07:32You know, my family got to surprise us there.
07:34And just a great way to start off the whole journey with the one-on-one.
07:37And that was a really great date.
07:38Maybe something later on, I get to see and experience one of the most beautiful things
07:47I've ever seen in my entire life.
07:49Magical things I've ever seen.
07:51Awesome.
07:52But it's also in conjunction with something not so great.
07:58So, I don't know.
07:59That's a big date.

08:13That was a very raw conversation that the two of us had.
08:18And all that's, again, that conversation wasn't even supposed to happen.
08:22The date was supposed to go, as she had kind of, you know, explained it, that we were
08:27going to have an audience there.
08:27And that obviously didn't happen.
08:29But it was a conversation that had to happen between the two of us.
08:32Those feelings for me, for sure, resurfaced that I thought I'd put away.
08:35Mm-hmm.
08:36And that was just me.
08:37I understand kind of, and I kind of struggle with it.
08:41I'm like, shoot, I have an amazing group of women that came here to meet me.
08:44And I don't want to disrespect them in any way.
08:45Right.
08:45But I had to be true to myself.
08:47And that talk had to happen.
08:48And you guys will see what happens in the next episode.
08:50It seems that a major reason your ending isn't being spoiled is because there's no ending
08:57yet.
08:59So what has life been like since the cameras stopped rolling?
09:04It's been, it's been crazy.
09:07I mean, you know, you kind of now, with all this excitement around it.
09:11And you know, people want to know.
09:12And obviously you kind of have to like, live a secret.
09:15Yeah.
09:15What's going on.
09:17And it's unique.
09:20It's difficult.
09:21Mm-hmm.
09:23It's, you know, I know it's not going to last forever.
09:25Right.
09:26And I don't know, it's kind of, in a way, kind of cool to just have that secret right
09:30now that no one knows.
09:32But, you know, thank God it's not for too long.

09:35In the previews, we see your mom getting really emotional and saying, don't let her go.
09:41What can you say about that conversation and how it played out in your journey?
09:44Mm-hmm.
09:45Yeah.
09:45That was a very emotional conversation with my mom.
09:50No shortage there of emotion.
09:51And it was a tough one that I had with her, my whole family.
09:56And yeah, you guys will see.
