00:00Guys, I gotta come clean.
00:02There's something really embarrassing
00:04that I'm about to reveal.
00:05And it's become a little bit of a compulsion
00:08and obsession.
00:10It's me and .
00:11We're dating.
00:17You guys are always asking like,
00:20oh Cam, what do you do all day?
00:21What do you do all day?
00:21Dude, I'm about to go get a little chage.
00:24I need a peach oolong so bad.
00:27And then maybe, I don't know, stop at Pop Mart.
00:30You know, get a blind box.
00:32So, let's get a little Bev.
00:35So every morning I wake up and I walk a mile
00:38to a coffee shop and I walk back.
00:40So that way I get my steps in, start the day,
00:42and then I get my caffeine while I play PlayStation.
00:47I think I'm gonna do the peach oolong lemon tea.
00:50All right, so the tab so far on the day is $8.
00:54So we're starting out pretty good for LA.
00:56We just wrapped a super cute YA.
00:58I think it's a really cool avenue for her.
01:01That's like a little bit outside of her norm
01:02for the most part.
01:03Super fun, super young, like very flirty,
01:06a lot of tension, and she's amazing.
01:09I mean, Savannah Coffey is a dog.
01:12She was a really fun person to work with,
01:14so I'm very grateful for the experience.
01:15And I think you guys are gonna love, love, love, love
01:18this show, so many clippable moments.
01:26Absolutely delish.
01:27It's like starting to warm up in California.
01:30Like we still have a nice little breeze,
01:31but that sun, that sun's peeking out.
01:33So I think this past year, you know,
01:35I really tap back into my like Western roots
01:38and like Southern roots especially.
01:40You know, I was born in Texarkana, Texas
01:42and raised in Maumelle, Arkansas.
01:44So it's like a pretty country.
01:46I've been in California for seven years now,
01:49you know, so I've been here for like a good minute.
01:51And I moved my mom here in 2020 from Arkansas.
01:54So like she's out not too far away from me.
01:57And so it's really nice to have some like comforts from home.
02:01Like I love California, dude,
02:03because I started out in New York and New York was rough.
02:06I mean, it was really, really hard.
02:07So when I got to California,
02:09that's when everything kind of just started rolling in my career.
02:12Like my first week here,
02:13I booked Tyler the Creator's A Boy Is A Gun music video.
02:16Since then, it kind of just like kept rolling.
02:18And since I found my current management,
02:20they've changed my life.
02:22And California has been a big reason for that.
02:24I think it's a good balance of lifestyle
02:27with like a lot of opportunity for work.
02:29And then if I need to go to New York and like take a flight,
02:32then I just hop on a flight and I get to come back
02:34and have a little bit more mellow kind of day to day.
02:42What's your movie theater snack?
02:44What's your go-to?
02:45I'm large popcorn, but with pickled jalapenos on the side.
02:49And I love a hot dog.
02:51Oh, I love a hot dog at the movie.
02:53And a Diet Coke.
02:54Always got to be a Diet Coke.
02:58Guys, I got to come clean.
03:00There's something really embarrassing that I'm about to reveal.
03:03And it's become a little bit of a compulsion and obsession.
03:07It's me and Pop Mart.
03:08We're dating.
03:10You guys want to go see?
03:15Oh, thank you so much.
03:16So I've been a fan of Pop Mart for probably over a year now.
03:20Definitely think my girl has like influenced that.
03:22So if you cannot tell, I like Hirono.
03:26But I just like little trinkets.
03:28And because like I'm working so much and I need a day off,
03:31I just come to Pop Mart.
03:33So the deal is there should be one of each of these in this box, right?
03:37That's how it kind of works.
03:38So before we check out, I have one question for you guys.
03:41What is your go-to Pop Mart figurine?
03:43Like, are you a Lububu girl?
03:45Are you a Hirono guy?
03:46Do you like Crybaby, Demu?
03:49Like, what is it?
03:50And then follow up question.
03:51Which one's the best?
03:53How do you rank them?
03:54Give me your top three.
03:56Awesome.
03:57Thank you guys so much.
03:58Have a good one.
03:59All right.
03:59There we have it.
04:01Pop Mart secure, dude.
04:03You guys want to open them?
04:04You want to open them with me?
04:05Only $126.
04:07If you guys don't know, there's a special way that you do the unboxing for blind boxes.
04:12And we're going to give you a lesson in that right now.
04:16Kind of take the panties off.
04:18All right.
04:19So you have in here, six.
04:21Or if you buy a full collection, it's 12.
04:23But this is a specialty one, right?
04:24So we're going to pick one.
04:25And then on the side, it'll tell you what the options are.
04:29And you got to feel it.
04:30I think it's the Grim Reaper.
04:32I've already pulled him and it feels really familiar.
04:35Open her up.
04:38Creepy clown.
04:39I don't think he's creepy.
04:40I think he's a big sweet angel.
04:42So boom.
04:43Now we're going to speed round it.
04:45I mean, dude, how freaking cute is this guy?
04:49He has a brain injury already.
04:50It's fine.
04:51So you guys probably didn't expect me to be this big of a little nerd.
04:55But spoiler.
04:56I am.
04:57And it's about the little things in life.
04:59So that's Dr. Pete.
05:01So he's like based off of a medieval doctor.
05:03Back when there was like bubonic plague and all the nastiness.
05:06And he comes with a sick little helmet mask face thing.
05:11And so he's cute like this.
05:13And then he's scary like that.
05:15And this makes a true actor.
05:17Being able to have balance where you need to be a little scary.
05:19But then you're also a big sweetheart.
05:21And that's how you get vertically famous.
05:27All right.
05:28So we made it to Shake Shack.
05:29We're going to go order our food.
05:30And then have a little month sesh.
05:32And then we'll chat it.
05:33So my favorite thing about like not getting recognized from the verticals.
05:37It's like I just get to like hang out.
05:38I'm normal as tech dude.
05:41But every now and then I get recognized.
05:43And I get so shy.
05:45I get so red.
05:47It's really cool when they like do recognize me for the work.
05:50And like I'm very nice and open to it.
05:52But I like the fact that I can be like in Pugnito.
05:55But it's way more on social.
05:57And which I'm happy about.
05:59Very happy with like my little social community.
06:01I love love love love on the comedos.
06:03The stinkies.
06:04Everybody.
06:05So my lucky number is 26.
06:08And there's a picture of my Papaw.
06:10Who is like my favorite person of all time.
06:12Where I'd be in a football stance in a newspaper.
06:15And it's it was titled Bruising Bo Dossy.
06:18I think it was his senior season.
06:19And his number was 26.
06:21So on senior night instead of wearing the normal number that I wore.
06:25Which was 12 as the quarterback.
06:27I wore 26 for my Papaw.
06:30And so there's a cool picture of me and my mom.
06:32Which insert now.
06:34So I got to do that.
06:35And like kind of have that little moment.
06:37And then I actually got it tattooed on me.
06:38At 16.
06:39It was my very first tattoo.
06:41And so I got 26.
06:42And then always with me.
06:44For my Papaw.
06:45So yeah.
06:47And I don't want to hear like oh the Romanumos wrong.
06:50That's how I wanted them.
06:51All right.
06:51I'm not Roman.
06:52I don't care.
06:53All right guys.
06:55The bag has been had.
06:57To start out.
06:57You got Diet Coke.
06:59Dude.
06:59You got to have a little DC in your life.
07:04And then if you don't know about these already.
07:07The spicy fries.
07:09Are my favorite french fry in the game.
07:11A crinkle cut fry with spicy seasoning.
07:14What's better than that?
07:15I mean let me know.
07:16I'll wait.
07:17An Arby's curly fry.
07:18All right.
07:19Valid.
07:19And then the order of all orders.
07:21You got to get the smoke shack.
07:23Double extra cherry peppers dude.
07:26The cherry peppers give me life.
07:28Are you team Shake Shack?
07:29Or are you team In-N-Out?
07:30It's not going to hurt my feelings.
07:31But I will judge you.
07:33So take that with what you will.
07:37And this is me speaking candidly.
07:39I got into acting.
07:41Because of my ex.
07:43And this was like when I was unhealthy boy.
07:45I was a little toxic.
07:48But I had started playing around with the idea of acting.
07:52And I knew.
07:55I just knew her and her friend were like talking a little bit of shit.
07:58Which is fine.
07:59Valid.
08:00But they were like Cameron seriously thinks he could be an actor.
08:02Ha ha.
08:03As if.
08:04And maybe I'm just like having a little bit of an ego.
08:08But I was like that.
08:09And then I started doing the verticals.
08:11And it pushed me into like taking that chance.
08:13And it's led me to this.
08:14And I'm getting like so many cool opportunities.
08:17And I built such a fun audience because of it.
08:19So the moral of the story.
08:22Do it.
08:23If people.
08:23Don't do things out of love.
08:25Do things out of spite.
08:27And then you fall in love with it.
08:28Like someone telling me I can't do something.
08:32Drives me insane.
08:33I'm like watch.
08:34Watch me do it.
08:35And that's what we do.
08:37They see the top of the hill as the top of the mountain.
08:39And they forget.
08:40In the midst of looking down too early.
08:43But they're still so much higher to go.
08:45And know if this is not a slight subverticals at all.
08:48I want to be Superman.
08:50And the Wall Street Journal lady asked me that same thing.
08:53She was like do you see yourself doing verticals for a long time?
08:56And my honest answer was I'm grateful for them.
08:59Because they're giving me a chance as someone who hasn't acted before.
09:01To really grow at a very quick pace.
09:03But we all want to be Superman.
09:05We all want to be that superhero.
09:07We want to do horizontal.
09:08We want to be the movie star.
09:09And if you don't.
09:11Then what kind of creative are you?
09:13I'm a creative who knows that I can be the best.
09:16I might not be there now.
09:17But I can be.
09:18And it's a disservice to myself and my career.
09:20And everyone that has helped me get to this point.
09:23If I don't try.
09:24I remember I had a conversation with myself on my coffee walk.
09:28And I was literally like.
09:29Would you rather sit here in 10 years and tell your kids.
09:32Like dude I could have been such a good actor.
09:34I could have been Superman.
09:36Yeah.
09:36Or being like hey.
09:38I figured out that I'm really bad at this.
09:40And I'm going to pivot.
09:41Creative isn't a model.
09:43It's not an actor.
09:44It's not a singular thing.
09:45It's an entire ecosystem to where it's like.
09:48I'm going to gain a little bit about what you do really well.
09:51If you're a great communicator.
09:52I need that in my toolbox.
09:53And as a creative.
09:54How do I articulate all of these skills.
09:57And all these little like tools that I've come along.
10:00Like with on my journey.
10:02From the amazing creatives that I get to work with.
10:04And that's what it's all about.
10:06But I think.
10:07Just a lot of people in this space.
10:09Just don't take the time to be like.
10:11There's something to gain.
10:12In a healthy manner from everybody.
10:14I think the biggest thing for me.
10:15Is like the universe puts you where you need to be.
10:17Not where you want to be.
10:18And that there are specific hurdles in front of you.
10:20Along your journey.
10:22That no matter how hard you try to go around them.
10:24Or under them.
10:25Or what.
10:26They're not going to move.
10:28Until you're ready to get over them.
10:30And I think a lot of people feel that little bit of friction.
10:32And they go.
10:33Why is it not easy?
10:35It's not supposed to be.
10:36Being a creative is hard.
10:37There's a lot of competition.
10:39There's a billion people that can step into my seat.
10:41And do exactly what I'm doing.
10:43The difference is.
10:43They can't do it the way in which I do it.
10:46That is unique to me.
10:48And it's because of my experience.
10:49And my perspective.
10:51And the people that I've got to interact with.
10:53Along my creative journey.
10:53And I think new age creatives.
10:57Especially younger ones.
10:59They have an acceptance of mediocrity.
11:01And mediocrity disgusts me.
11:03I never want to do anything that I'm good at.
11:06I want to be great.
11:07And maybe that's an unhealthy mindset or ego.
11:10But I think it's allowed me to push myself outside of my comfort zone.
11:15And I think the acting is a great example of that.
11:17There's a scene in Vicious.
11:19When Jenna's assault scene.
11:21And Bo.
11:22The guy who was the perpetrator.
11:25He's a great actor.
11:26And he's in it.
11:27And so I was in it.
11:29And that was so vulnerable.
11:31Because at the same time.
11:32I'm protecting my sweet little Jenna.
11:34But also Amelia.
11:36The character.
11:36And so it's just real and not real.
11:40And this whole amalgamation.
11:42And this very charged scene.
11:44Where I was drenched in sweat.
11:47Dry heaving about to throw up after my takes.
11:49I added an ad lib of like.
11:52Because the dad never looked at the help of his people.
11:54After I get him off.
11:55And I'm like.
11:57He calls her the help.
11:58And I punch him.
11:59And I go.
12:00Her name is Amelia.
12:02Look at her.
12:03See her.
12:04And I just remember it just being so.
12:06Just like.
12:08The character.
12:09Like it felt so real.
12:10But you have 14, 15 people.
12:12Just on the side going like this.
12:14I think.
12:14The thing that helped me the most with that.
12:16Was Austin Butler dude.
12:17He had a Subway Takes quote.
12:20And it was.
12:21Embarrassment is an undertapped emotion.
12:23And he said that.
12:24And I go.
12:25Damn it.
12:25He's right.
12:27We're getting paid to be silly little characters.
12:29Like none of this.
12:30It doesn't matter.
12:31And as soon as it's over.
12:32It's over.
12:32So that's really helped me.
12:34In some of these like.
12:36Later.
12:36Films that I've been doing.
12:38Just because.
12:39I'm like.
12:39If we're going to send it.
12:40Let's do it.
12:41Even when you're tired.
12:42And you're angry.
12:43And you're creatively frustrated.
12:45And you just do it.
12:46Get it out.
12:50All right guys.
12:51So we found a lovely little bench.
12:52And we're going to have.
12:53Just like a trip down memory lane.
12:55So we're going to go through some pictures.
12:57And I'm going to give you like a little story.
12:59About that era of camp.
13:01So this was like my junior year of high school.
13:05This one.
13:06I first started like dabbling in autumn.
13:09It was very early.
13:11But I was still like football, football, football, football.
13:13And I thought I was going to go play college ball.
13:15I was like we all had the dream to go pro.
13:17No shot at that.
13:18Be really honest.
13:19Football taught me a lot of lessons that have benefited me in my adult life.
13:23Towards like natural leadership and like the competition and like the want to like just be good and better and
13:31beat everybody.
13:32Football.
13:33And then this is my senior year.
13:35It's where you can kind of see I started to grow up a little bit.
13:37The hair kind of started growing.
13:39And I remember it dude.
13:41So embarrassing.
13:42So I used to do like free game right.
13:45So we come out and warm up on the field before we went back into the field house before the
13:49game started.
13:50And after warm ups and we everyone starts going back into the field house, I would get run to the
13:56stands like back to our benches right right under the student section and grab a bottle of water and do.
14:04So I was kind of built for verticals, I guess.
14:06But I would do this and throw my hair back and like jog back to the field house.
14:12So, yeah.
14:13And this is also my friend Word, who is an amazing athlete, an amazing guy.
14:18He passed away a couple years ago.
14:20I actually like really love this picture.
14:22I have it printed out in my room.
14:23It's a weird thing.
14:24Arkansas wasn't the safest place in all actuality.
14:28And so I've had a couple friends that have passed away.
14:30And unfortunately Word was one of those.
14:32But hopefully he's, you know, in a good place.
14:35And he's proud of all of us that he played sports with and knew and interacted with.
14:39So, yeah.
14:41And then this is senior night with me and my mom.
14:43My mom is my best friend, the absolute, my favorite person on the planet.
14:48And I'm wearing 26, which is my Papaw's football number.
14:52And that was a really fun night.
14:53And it's a night that I don't think I'll ever forget.
14:55We lost.
14:57But I didn't start as a senior because my coach was an idiot.
15:01We hated him.
15:02I still hate him.
15:03So, all grudges.
15:05But we were down like 35 to nothing.
15:08I come in, have two back-to-back ADR touchdown drives.
15:13And I kind of got my, like, gotcha moment with him.
15:16So, yeah.
15:17That was really cool.
15:18And then this is me in New York taking digitals.
15:22Oh, nightmare fuel, dude.
15:24So, this is, like, after, like, I had to lose, like, 35 pounds a month.
15:29And I just looked so, like, I was just so small.
15:32Like, I just felt so little and, like, weak and, like, energy-deprived.
15:36Like, I was eating, like, 800 calories a day.
15:39And then I would go to the city, walk 10 miles, three miles in the morning on the treadmill.
15:44And then come back and work out for, like, two hours in the living room at my mother agent's place.
15:49And so, like, I'd have, like, a salad with, like, a packet of tuna and lemon juice.
15:53And, like, I had that, like, twice a day.
15:56And, like, that was about it.
15:58So, that was a really trying time in my life, which I'm grateful that I went through it.
16:04Because it really taught me a lot of lessons about, like, really owning my own self.
16:08But that was hard.
16:09Like, I kind of always fought for that part of my career.
16:12To the point that, like, I ended up being, like, homeless for a year and a half, two years in
16:16New York.
16:16You know?
16:17Just because I was, like, I'm supposed to be here.
16:19I kind of put all my eggs in a basket.
16:21And I was going to make sure that something hatched.
16:23And here we are.
16:29All right.
16:30Bag secured.
16:31Let's go check out.
16:32And then it might be time for me to take a nap.
16:35Sorry, guys.
16:40What's the damage?
16:42$215.
16:44All right, guys.
16:45So, that completes our shopping day here at Century City.
16:49Okay, we got some clothes.
16:51Got some figurines.
16:52Got a little skincare.
16:53Little $400 a day.
16:55So, not the worst.
