00:34Matt, your 30 seconds starts now. Okay, Rebecca, I'm sorry to say this,
00:38but I think Supergirl is going to hit some kryptonite-infused turbulence here. And it's
00:42not because of Millie Alcock. I'm a fan. It's because Supergirl is still a B-tier DC hero that
00:49doesn't measure up to her super cousin. Plus, what are people watching right now in theaters?
00:54They're watching these internet-influenced Gen Z flicks, obsession, and backrooms. Supergirl is
01:00not that. Plus, it opens the same day as Jackass, the new one. So, I mean, her biggest threat will
01:05be grown men getting hit in the crotch, which I'm here for.
01:08All right, Yvonne, it's your turn to make a case for why Supergirl will fly.

01:13Look, this isn't Martha's DCU. Okay, James Gunn did a great job of setting up this new era of DC
01:19movies, and Supergirl comes in at a moment where people are excited to see what's next after the,
01:24you know, admittedly slow but non-debatable success of Superman. It's a movie that proved
01:29that cookie-cutter superhero movies just won't do. They need a little bit more soul, a little bit
01:34more heart, and Millie Alcock embodies just that. Add to that great source material, great action,
01:39Jason Momoa's dream role, an unbeatable soundtrack, and you have a recipe for a space adventure
01:44we haven't seen since the first Guardians of the Galaxy.

02:11And if scary movie tells us anything, there was terrible reception, and millennial comedy
02:15is just not hitting as it was before, no matter how many crotches it hits, okay?
