00:00NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited the Oval Office on Wednesday with a gift our
00:03president is sure to love. During his meeting, Rutte praised Trump's handling of Iran and
00:09presented him with a gold-colored chart dubbed the Trump Trillion, crediting him with pushing
00:14NATO allies to spend more on defense. But it wasn't all sunshine and gold leaf. Rutte pushed
00:19back on Trump's complaints that European allies let the United States down during the Iran conflict.
00:25I know there have been isolated cases about which you are really disappointed. But generally
00:32speaking, your European allies have been there. Trump wasn't convinced. The president said several
00:37European countries refused to allow U.S. warplanes to land during the conflict and singled out Italy,
00:42the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain for criticism. Meanwhile, optimism about the ongoing
00:47negotiations to end the war once and for all sent oil down to nearly 70 bucks a barrel, the lowest
00:54price since the day before the war began on February 28th. But don't get too excited yet
00:59about that. Patrick DeHaan, the head petroleum analyst at GasBuddy.com says, quote, oil prices
01:05and gas prices are not a one-to-one relationship. We'll likely have to wait until late fall, early
01:10winter to see prices fall to pre-war levels. Oof. President Trump's reaction to that news? Well,
01:17he posted, quote, I have instructed the DOJ to immediately start looking into this.
01:21Gasoline prices better start going down a lot faster than what I'm seeing.
