00:01I'm Cory Marino. We're going to recreate a look we did with Cynthia Erivo earlier.
00:08So we wanted to create a look that looks more like a tapered cut. So I just created more of
00:13a up-do style to accent her face. I think she has gorgeous cheekbones and it's a fun way to
00:18kind of change a look up without trying too hard. Quick pin situation and you have a magical moment
00:24like so. I'm gonna jump right in and talk a little bit about what we did with Cynthia.
00:28I was inspired by like pink splats and just like that visual stimulation of
00:33seeing contrast within the hair. So I'm gonna just figure out where I want the
00:36focal point to be. I kind of want to build a beautiful moment away from her face.
00:40So just simply kind of going in and doing cool bursts of colors and making sure
00:46they're patted in. I'm gonna play with a little bit of neon orange just to kind of accent it.
00:53I just think that's such a cool way to just implement little spurts of color
00:57throughout the head without it being extremely like opaque. Something super
01:03delicate and feminine but impactful. I think it's such a dope look.
01:08So once I'm like finding the colors that complement each other well I'm taking a look
01:13at her face and seeing the silhouette that I want to create. I want it to be more
01:16obscure and nothing planned out but making sure those two colors kind of like blend
01:21well within the texture. Allowing them to look a little bit more real. I'm making sure there's no
01:25little wet spots. Make sure everything is kind of melted into the hair properly. I
01:30think this is a great look, right? I would go to a party like this.
