00:06the reimagining of the blair witch project oh my god yeah i never saw the original okay um because
00:15i thought that it would be too scary but they're they've reimagined it it has a new premiere date
00:20and uh it'll hit theater september 24th 2027 you want to know a fun fact about it yeah it was
00:28originally filmed at seneca creek state park in gaithersburg maryland okay i am from gaithersburg
00:36maryland no and when we were kids we used to go to the same spot that they recorded it and
00:42scare the
00:43crap out of each other you know typical kid teenage of course of course yeah so uh seen the movie
00:50scary yeah like donnie was just saying that he did not get scared by that movie it more was
00:56it was just a lot of moving camera the camera was constantly moving they were running a lot they
01:01were panning away i found it kind of annoying like it was more of a headache the whole idea of
01:06this
01:07movie if you're not familiar is that it's like found footage right so they're kids in the woods taking
01:13video of themselves and then they there's like this unseen presence right and that's what makes
01:20it so scary and suspenseful it the budget was 60 000 but viral marketing which by the way was not
01:27even a thing back in 1999 when they made this led to the film taking in almost 250 million dollars
01:32globally like it was such a smash yeah um same executive producers and everything as the first
01:37one are working on this reboot of it so that'll be coming in september of 2027 very cool um another
01:44redo and this is going to be a live action adaptation of this show
02:00wow frizzle will be played by elizabeth banks no way now it's funny because this seemed familiar
02:07to me i thought i thought that we had already talked about this she was originally supposed to
02:12play miss frizzle um back in 2020 they talked about doing a reboot of the magic school bus or
02:17making this into a movie and it kind of fell to the wayside and now this has been picked up
02:22again so
02:22um yeah rob letterman detective pikachu director is going to be writing the treatment and directing the
02:29project so i find it a little weird because miss frizzle i mean i never found her attractive
02:33right and i really find elizabeth banks attractive so she is like a chameleon though yeah i think that
02:39she's really talented she can adapt and she yeah so i think she's gonna be great at that and then

02:44movie news um and this is about the movie boyhood do you remember this movie it's from 12 years ago

03:00boy for 12 years right right literally took 12 years to make it and um and now it's it came

03:0712 years ago so they're going to re-release it in theaters wow that's so cool patricia arquette are
03:13both in it um and then for the they're going to be doing a screening in austin in july with
03:18a q a and
03:19stuff and they're bringing the cast back together which is going to be pretty neat and then after
03:22that boyhood will return to theaters beginning july 31st um and yeah i think it sounds like it's going
03:28to be pretty cool so if you missed it the first time this is a great opportunity to get back
