00:04day, you know, when you do just interviews back to back to back to back, I was in a studio
00:07with these two women, and it was the time that the diagnosis came out about Kenny Dalgleish and Kevin Keegan.
00:13So in the interview, after interviewing me, then they said, oh, you know, so what about this cancer? And it
00:17wasn't prostate cancer with those, and I thought they were talking about me.
00:21And so I didn't think, because, you know, I'm a consummate professional, I didn't go, how do you know about
00:26that?
00:26I just went, well, you know, I've had it for like four years, and, you know, I had the operation,
00:30and I'm all clear now, and I had my prostate out, so everything is fine.
00:32And they never looked shocked, so I thought, they must be talking about me.
00:35So I continued until after the show, everything brought that, so obviously they were talking about me, but they never
00:41looked that way.
00:41But you've been living with it privately for so long that, in a way, I suppose, the boundary between what
00:46was public and what was private...
00:47Well, I kind of forgot that I hadn't really said anything.
00:49But in that instance, I wasn't talking about me.
00:52So what they actually said to me, yes, I just went, yeah, I had prostate cancer.
00:57It was important what you did.
00:58Well, absolutely, but I never meant to.
