00:00When I'm creating a project like the Odyssey trailer,
00:03the biggest takeaway is that I'm really treating Grok like a camera.
00:06I'm treating Grok like a raw footage generating machine,
00:08which is what it really excels at.
00:10I usually start with a rough concept,
00:13you know, that could be a shot list, a style template,
00:15and this will help keep the visual style consistent throughout the entire piece.
00:20Once you've generated your start frames and they're storyboard worthy,
00:23then you can start generating your video clips from those start frames.
00:27And many times, if you just click the generate video button,
00:31Grok will understand the context of that start frame.
00:33If you nail all these things with your start frames,
00:35then the video model has a smaller job.
00:38And now you're just prompting the specific things that you want to happen in that video clip.
00:43For example, the speech shot, you know,
00:45you do have to type in what you want your character to say
00:48and adding a description of the emotion and the pauses and the beats
00:53that you want the character to hit really helps.
00:56So Grok is the camera and you have to prompt it like a camera.
01:01Think about the main takeaways of what you want this video clip to do.
01:05What is the subject doing?
01:06What is the camera doing?
01:08What needs to stay consistent throughout the shot?
01:10And much like real filmmaking,
01:11take one is not always going to be the best take.
01:14You can't expect things to work perfectly the first time.
01:16You might need to generate a clip a few times to get that perfect take.
01:19It's a creative, collaborative process with Grok Imagine as your camera.
01:24But also remember that not every shot is going to be final.
01:26That's a huge part of editing is using the moments that work
01:29and leaving everything else in the trash bin, to be honest.
01:32And so when you're trying to tell a story,
01:34it's all about how you're cutting all those clips together
01:36to get your audience to feel something.
01:39Once you've finally gotten all of your video clips,
01:41I batch download them from the Grok Imagine page
01:43and bring them into my editing software.
01:46And that's where the film starts coming together for me.
01:47The pacing, the music, all that is happening at the edit stage.
01:51And that really is the workflow.
01:52There is still a human in the mix here.
01:54You still do have to think through the story you want to tell
01:57and then use the tools like Grok Imagine
01:59to create the visuals you want for your story.
