00:00Was the Knicks 29 point come from behind win game for the greatest comeback in sports history?
00:07I don't know. Let's ask Knicks Nation.
00:10Would you call that the greatest comeback in sports history?
00:14I would say so in the last, what, what was it, 30 seconds?
00:17The fact that we were able to bring back a win by one point,
00:20I would say that it was truly one of the greatest comebacks of all time.
00:25I think that is the greatest comeback in sports history.
00:27Being down 29 points, they grinded. They never gave up.
00:31We're a team that, you know, when we have to come together, we may not have the best talent,
00:35but we have the best heart, and that's what the city's about.
00:37Oh, my God. I've never seen a game like that in my life.
00:41Cannot believe how they stuck in there point by point, play by play to bring us back to that win.
00:47It was incredible to see that tip, but the block, more importantly, by OG Ananobi, going crazy. Going crazy.
00:55Definitely the most iconic shot in NBA history. I think an incredible comeback, man.
01:00It's, like, so cool that they did that and they were able to get that.
01:02I think OG's shot was unbelievable.
01:05I don't think Brunson should have taken the shot, but OG saved us. OG saved us.
01:09Oh, by far. This is New York. Like, that's probably the greatest game ever so far in my life.
01:14I've witnessed basketball.
01:16Knicks at five, but obviously it's the best basketball I've ever seen in a long time,
01:20and I've played basketball myself, but the greatest comeback. People doubted us first half,
01:24but we showed you how New York doesn't stop fighting.
01:27I believe so. I think so. I think that was the biggest one ever that I've seen in my whole
01:31life.
01:31Why is that? What made that comeback win so special?
01:34Oh, man, the teamwork coming back from 29, everything, the hustle, the grit.
01:38It was just, I think the whole world saw something special that night.
01:41The greatest comeback in sports history, greatest basketball game ever played on hardwood.
01:46Knicks in five, easy.
01:48And what made it even more special was I was there to witness it.
01:51I saw it with a bunch of great people. We was at the compound in Red Hook,
01:55and it was phenomenal energy. It was almost a spiritual event. It was incredible.
02:02Unbelievable, yes. I can't even picture another game like that. It was insane.
02:07I'm just speechless right now.
02:09I want to, maybe not sports history, but Knicks history.
02:13Okay. Why is that? Why is that?
02:16Because over the past, over the past decade, we haven't had really, you know, any good games like that where
02:21the guys had to battle out hard like that.
02:25You know what I'm saying? Especially at this height, you know, of the season.
02:28So, you know, it's great, man. You know, I'm happy again. You know, let's go Knicks.
02:32You know, and hopefully, you know, the guys are able to bring a chip here.
02:36What would a championship mean both to the city and to you personally?
02:41For me personally, I've been waiting my lifetime for it.
02:44For the city, people have been waiting so long.
02:46And that's a moment for this city that I think everyone's been looking to get back to.
02:51I would say every NYPD officer needs to be out here because it will be absolutely insane.
02:57I think the city has been needing this for so long.
03:00And the fact that, like, we're here is insane.
03:03The city, I mean, as if we saw the videos from last night, it's going to be crazy.
03:08It'll mean everything.
03:10I mean, the connection with the city, everybody's wearing Knicks gear.
03:13It's just incredible.
03:15It'll just mean the world.
03:16I'm 100% going to go to the championship parade.
03:19I think to all the other Knicks fans who have been old and, like, since 1973,
03:24all the unks out there, they've been waiting for this.
03:27But just for me, it'd be such a cool experience.
03:30I mean, I'm also a Ravens fan that they missed the playoffs last year.
03:34It would be a cool – my little brother's a Celtics fan, and he got a win.
03:37So I could show him that the Knicks are better.
03:40Oh, man, I think it would mean the world to the city.
03:42You know, it's been a long time.
03:44You know, we've been diehard fans.
03:45And I think a statue should be built outside of all the five starting lineups of New York.
03:51What about for you personally?
03:53Me personally?
03:54Oh, man, I remember being seven years old watching 1999.
03:56So this is huge.
03:57You know, we did – with all those horrible rosters we had,
04:01and now we have a team that we were proud of.
04:03It doesn't matter how many games it takes, man.
04:05If they bring it home, New York City's going to be alive.
04:07Like, we're living and dying with them every second.
04:10You can feel the energy.
04:12We were down last night.
04:13Everybody's all antsy, anxious.
04:15But coming back, winning that way, so much sweeter.
04:20To, like, you know, it's really a New York, like, fairy tale.
04:23A story of, like, running with the punches, next man up.
04:28The team just never quit.
04:29It would mean everything for the city.
04:30What does it mean personally for you?
04:32Oh, man, I mean, I just can't wait to be outside.
04:35I was on 7th Avenue yesterday walking around just feeling it.
04:38Tears running down my face.
04:39I can't imagine.
04:41I just want to feel the city, the relief we're all going to feel
04:46having the ring on our finger.
04:47I think it's going to give us a feeling like no other.
04:50I think we've been out there grinding,
04:53just like the team has been grinding all these years.
04:55And I think this will give us the opportunity to celebrate as a city
04:59like never before.
05:01I think it will be a national city holiday.
05:03We deserve this.
05:05New York, we have other teams have won for us,
05:07but Knicks, five decades.
05:10I feel like New York needs this.
05:12We've been going through so much, so many years with our Knicks teams.
05:14We have so many players.
05:16Like, New York just needs this.
05:17And I feel like for me personally, I'm going to cry.
05:20I'm going to be honest with you.
05:21I'm from Staten Island.
05:21I feel like all the boroughs are going to unite together.
05:24It's going to be the biggest party New York's ever seen.
05:26All right, Nixon?
05:27In five.
05:29Five.
05:29Come on.
05:30All right, Nixon, five.
05:31Nixon, five.
05:31Let's go.
05:32Nixon, five, baby.
