00:05One of those names is Genghis Khan.
00:08Genghis Khan was born around 1162 in the vast steppes of what is now Mongolia.
00:15His birth name was Temujin.
00:18During his childhood he faced poverty, hardship and conflicts.
00:23After the death of his father, his family was abandoned by their tribe.
00:28Despite these challenges, Temujin refused to give up.
00:32Over time, he united many of the Mongol tribes and, in 1206, was given the title Genghis Khan,
