00:32of our senior most leaders, Shri Ramalinga Rediji.
00:37Shri Ramalinga Rediji has worked for years with Shri BK Hari Prashadji from NSUID Youth Congress.
00:45I want to just say, Shri Ramalinga Rediji is an SSH of the Congress party. He started working in the
00:54Congress party in the year 1973, much before some of us were even born.
01:02He was an MLA of the Congress party in the year 1989. He has been elected as a Congress MLA
01:10eight times. He has been a minister multiple times. He has held almost every charge of almost number of ministries
01:20that I can't even recollect.
01:23His experience and wisdom is extremely valuable to the party. More so, because of his old association with both Shri
01:35D.K. Shivkumar, our Honorable Chief Minister, as also was PCC President Shri BK Hari Prashadji and thousands and thousands
01:45lakhs of Congress workers across Karnataka.
01:50When you broke the news of his so-called resignation, Shri D.K. Shivkumar, Shri BK Hari Prashadji, Shri Siddharamaya
02:00and myself, we all spoke to him, all four of us.
02:05There was apparently some misunderstanding. He again met Shri BK Hari Prashadji, me and Shri D.K. Shivkumar, Shri Siddharamaya.
02:17He has already, I think, told you that he has withdrawn his resignation.
02:25There was some misunderstanding. And he shall continue to work as a loyal soldier and minister of the past.
02:36So, people who were talking about and gleeing and celebrating, there is a, BJP is in a state of shock
02:46actually, because they thought they were fishing for trouble in the smooth transition of power.
02:56And they were hoping that they will be able to gain some political capital out of everything that they lost
03:03in eyes of people.
03:04Having failed, they were talking about wickets and what more. But let me tell them that both Mr. Vijendra and
03:14also Mr. Ashok, you will repeatedly get clean gold in the court of the people.
03:19Because, to win the trust of the people, you need sincerity, you need commitment, and you need service of the
03:30people, which Congress government has implemented through its five guarantees.
