More than three years after the disappearance of Malaysia Everest 2023 (ME 2023) climber Muhammad Hawari Hashim on Mount Everest, the expedition team is now seeking an official declaration of death from the Nepal government to help ease various matters involving the victim’s family.

00:37He said that no official death declaration has been issued to date, despite more than
00:42three years having passed, since the climber went missing.
00:46Saleh added that the declaration is crucial to enable the family to settle various matters,
00:52including insurance claims, employment issues, and official documentation.
00:57Mohamed Hawari, from Penang and serving at the Penang Museum at the time, had successfully
