00:00Turn from a hard ass rap song to a love song in like, immediately, like three seconds.
00:04There it is.
00:06It's a thin line between love and hate, you know what I'm saying?
00:15I created my home around creativity and especially music, where every turn that you take inspires you.
00:27I'm R.I.D.K. and I'm going to show you how I built my house around bringing creative ideas
00:31to life.
00:52The whole idea of this house was building it around music.
00:56Even when you're in the kitchen, you hear music.
00:59Everything's rigged to my studio, so when my engineer is mixing or whatever the case may be,
01:03I could be making scrambled eggs and I can listen to what's going on and kind of communicate with him
01:08on what I'm doing.
01:10This is the first piano that I've ever bought in my life.
01:13I just took off the front of it and allowed it to be something that you could just look at.
01:21This is the first radio that I had when I was in prison.
01:24And if you look at it as transparent, mainly because they don't want you to hide contraband and things like
01:30that within them.
01:31I looked at this at the time as a form of control.
01:35When I got out and I grew up a little bit more, I started looking at it as something actually
01:40really cool.
01:40And so I took the power back from that.
01:42And what I did was I started making transparent electronics.
01:48This is a CD player.
01:50This was actually how I sold some of my mixtapes for even the Devil Smiles.
01:55It was through this transparent CD player that was a reflection of where I came from in prison.
01:59It has like a futuristic element to it.
02:02This is a product of a lot of the hard work and the fans and the people supporting me
02:07and being able to allow me to have a space like this to continue making things.
02:18This particular bike right here, this is what started my relationship with Dior.
02:24This is number zero out of 150.
02:26It was given to me by Jack, actually.
02:29He used to be the VP at Dior.
02:32And this bike was basically used in my music video, Serial.
02:36And that's kind of what started the conversation of us potentially doing things together.
02:43This house is set up so I can find inspiration in every corner
02:46and make anything I think without ever needing to leave.
02:50And my favorite thing to do is share my space with other artists where we can collaborate.
