A historic garden at Windsor Castle has been redesigned using the orbit of Venus as inspiration. It will open to visitors this summer as part of a new seasonal display.

00:06King's vision, will open to visitors this summer. The Venus Garden, beneath the east
00:10facade of the Royal Residence, takes its design from the planet's orbit around the Sun, creating
00:15a geometric floral pattern, sometimes known as the Rose of Venus. The site dates back to the 1820s
00:22and has been used in different forms by generations of the Royal Family. It will open to the public
00:27from the 16th of July to the 13th of September, included in the standard Windsor Castle admission.
00:33The redesign features new planting, wildflower meadows and pathways aimed at boosting biodiversity.
