00:31after attending a dinner hosted by an international banking company.
00:35Preliminary investigations indicate the driver lost control while negotiating a bend,
00:41causing the car to skid and hit a pillar wall before catching fire.
00:45Firefighters from the Chera station extinguished the blaze
00:48and extricated the victims from the wreckage.
00:51The driver suffered severe burns while the woman sustained serious head injuries.
00:56Both were pronounced dead at the scene by Kuala Lumpur Hospital medical personnel.
01:01The case is being investigated under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
